Needed replacement of freezer door gasket
Item #2188462A fit perfectly on my Roper Model #RT14BKXKQ05 MFG DATE 08/05.
I just unscrewed the small screws that held the existing gasket, then I held the new gasket in place with painter tape and screwed it to the door, then removed tape.

Thermostat was bad so it wasn't defrosting
Removed back panel in freezer to access evaporator and wire harness.
Installed new harness and it works like new!

OLDER Ice Maker on the fritz

Refrigerator Shelf replacement, good fit.
The rental house I live in did not come with the original shelves for the Refrigerator. Had to strategically stack stuff on top of one another with locker shelves. Entered the model number on the site, order the best matching item, and the part that came was a perfect fit. I'll be getting another.

My husband knocked a jar of olives off the above shelf which hit the glass shelf over the criper shattering it into a bazillion pieces.
I received the glass shelf in a very well protected cardboard box, removed the glass shelf from the box, and inserted it into the slot in my refrigerator! Fit perfectly.

Light didnt go on
The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!

Replacing the bulb in the freezer side
Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.
Your web site is one of the best and most helpfull service sites I ever used. Just wish that in the future you will ship parts overseas.

fridge door switch did not work
I removed the switch housing (4 screws), replacing the switch in the housing was a snap. It took 5 minutes, cost $8 and light works like new!
Why didn't I order this part and do the repair earlier? Very simple.

Door light switch disintegrated

Broke light switch while cleaning
use kitchen knife to pry out. replaced switch assemble and pressed back into place. Could not have done this with out help from previous customers. Thanks

Metal end cap on freezer door handle broke
Parts Select was easy to deal with -- had the item next morning after ordering! But Whirlpool should be ashamed -- this is the FOURTH time this part has had to be replaced in the 13 years we've had this refrigerator. Unrelated, but still a Whirlpool problem, the icemaker broke within 6 months -- had it repaired twice and then gave up. Will buy a different brand frig next time.

The plastic water fill tube got cracked when we moved. I called a parts company and they told me they couldn't just sell me the tube I would have to buy a whole kit for about $50 dollars. I decided to glue the tube. It worked for a while then it started leaking. So I thought I would have to buy
I hand screwed the fill tube into the water tube and stuck it into the freezer hole. I screwed the fill tube to the back of the refrigerator.
