Shelf was broken on one side.

defective light switch
inserted a knife between the switch and the plastic interior in order to pop the switch out.
then took off the 2 wires on the old switch put them on the new switch and reinserted the switch into the plastic interior.

changed the light bulb still would not work so I figured it was the switch sure enough.
I took a chance and ordered a switch that is next to the top of the door. looked for how to remove it easily done in ten minutes works fine last long time.

Freezer ice maker not dispensing ice.
Ordered Ice Bin Auger and changed with no problem. Found how to change on YouTube and followed video.

fridge door switch did not work
I removed the switch housing (4 screws), replacing the switch in the housing was a snap. It took 5 minutes, cost $8 and light works like new!

Light didnt go on
The light rocker switch wasnt working. I found the part on the web site. It was so easy. I used a screw driver to pop out the old one and pop the new one in. It took 5 min. Thanks!!!

broken light switch in the freezer
We removed the old switch, unplugged it, plugged the new one in and it was easy to do. But when we tried to put the switch back in we had a very hard time doing it. Eventually got it in, but if it had not been for the difficulty we had getting the new switch to snap in to place, it would have taken under 5 minutes.

Side by side Fridge comes with room for moving shelves
But insufficient shelves for my needs so I added one to the freezer and one to the fridge. Freezer needs to be inserted into one side first then leveled and shifted to engage the other side. Glass Fridge shelf just slid into place.

Ice maker stopped producing ice.
Removed the old ice maker by taking out three screws. Unplugged the electrical connection to the old ice maker. Replaced the old ice maker with the new one. Reconnected the electrical, replaced the screws, and reset the new ice maker. The replacement part has been working perfectly. This was an extremely easy replacement job!

ice will not dispense ice from storage bin to out the door. Auger does not turn
Replaced motor it was not issue. Now I am stuck with a $300 motor I cannot return. When I say will not dispense ice everyone thinks it does not make ice. Auger does not turn to push ice out the door. Reason I thought it was auger motor when you push lever on door the auger turns about one eight of a turn. So, it would seem it is getting signal and power. Cannot find any articles on this specific issue. If anyone has a suggestion, please share.

freezer (later fridge too) wouldn't stay cold~
****Make are you order Capacitor & Starter relay too (we ordered separtely so had to pay shipping twice)**** Super easy just open access panel on back near compressor and remove retention clip with fingers, remove & replace both capacitor & starter, put clip and access panel back on, plug in and allow 8 hours to cool! Works like new again! Hope it goes another 10 years
