All I did was unscrew the stripped one and screw the new part on. You just have to get it started unscrewing first ( remember that it's backwards! ).

Ice would not dispense out of the ice bucket
SUPER EASY. I pulled out the ice bucket and confirmed the motor ran and the axel turned - however the coupling was missing. Ordered the coupling - pulled out the ice bucket, screwed on by hand with minimum effort, put ice bucket back and ice started coming out the door. It took less than 5 minutes and no tools required.

The light switch broke when an item fell on to the switch
Following a you tube video, I followed the instructions. However, the old switch did not come out as easy as the video showed. They showed inserting the putty knife at the bottom of the switch to pop out the switch. However, in my refrigerator, the flex tab was at the top. After I inserted the putty knife at the top of the switch it came out easily. I removed the broken switch and inserted the new switch with no further issues.

Refer lights not working, there are two lights and neither worked. Decided the switch was the problem.
The switch fix but did not fix the problem. I assumed the wires go on the same way as on the old switch. Is it possible if one light Burns out, the other will not work either?
