WRF757SDHZ00 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Instructions

The switch fix but did not fix the problem. I assumed the wires go on the same way as on the old switch. Is it possible if one light Burns out, the other will not work either?

Just plugged it in

I just popped out the old switch with a flat head screwdriver. Removed the connections and then installed new switch by reversing steps. Popped in back in and the light went on.

Simply placed on the front

Checked a video on YouTube and found questions and answers to this concern.. All lead to the compressor capacitor. Entered part # on your Website. Capacitor come right up and also suggested a Start Device. I ordered both parts as I was not sure if these parts would fix my problem.
R/R rear panel, found Capacitor and replaced it... Compressor came on and refrigerator operated correctly after defrosting Evaporator coils..

Popped out the old switch and replaced it with the one dying

Very easy to install new handle. Used hex screw driver to remove screws at top and bottom of handle. Handle easily lifted off. Then installed new handle and tightened existing screws. No issues. Took 5 minutes. New handle fit perfectly and looks great.

Once I got a part that wasn't broken in transit (took them sending it 3 times for that to happen), it was a breeze. Remove old drawer, take tracks off old drawer and place on new drawer. Put new drawer in fridge.

Removed old door. Attached new door to two tabs. Done

I followed the instructions in the appliance reference manual, and successfully replaced the water filter in 2 minutes, and reset the water quality indicator.

Simply pulled out the old unit and installed new per instructions. I was going to order just the part that houses the auger and ice bucket. I was also going to purchase the lesser quality brands at deep discount but after ready the 'challenges' with all of that - spent the money and saved myself the headaches. (and scratched fingers) Easy peasy.

Pried out old part with screwdriver. Unplugged. When new part came, just plugged it in and pushed the part into place.

Repair was tremendously easy. All I did was remove old light switch by prying out with screw driver and plugging in the new light switch and pushing it into the hole. Simple! The instructions weren't needed, but they were very thorough.

Had to push the light switch to get lamp to light up.
Removed power from refrig. and removed old light switch
and replaced with the one I got from Partselect. Turned power back on and was done.

I found the web site and the pictorial schematic of the refrigerator but it really didn't show the part as well as I had hoped, so I called the toll free Partselect number and spoke with a representative who took down all of the information and told me the part would be shipped out in a few days. Well, low and behold the next day Fedex was delivering this ling box to my door-I carefully opened it-it was the front cover plate of the drawer BELOW the broken one-perhaps my mistake in explaining it properly over the telephone-so back to the toll free number to try and straighten out the problem and reorder the correct part-that was even simpler than the first call-the correct part was ordered, return Fedex paperwork was sent to me via email, and several days later the correct part did indeed arrive. Installation took probably a total of 5 minutes or less-the old cover came off effortlessly (it was half off anyway) and the identical new replacement simply snapped into place and..............wah-lah as they say-back in business. It was a pleasure to do business with this company-their staff is courteous and efficient-and oh, yes, the first shipment was indeed picked up by Fedex when they delivered the correct package and was credited back to my credit card as promised.
