Missing refrigerator shelf rack from rental property refrigerator
I want to start by saying that I am female and want to let all females know that we can do home repairs! My story is not just about the repair but the wonderful customer service at PartsSelect.com. I have used them MANY times to order missing parts for appliances (I own rental property and tenants are always "losing" or breaking appliance parts). This particular time was the first time I received an incorrect part...not sure if it was my ordering or the wrong part was shipped. I contacted PartsSelect.com by email and got a REAL response within 24 hours. The customer service person who responded, immediately credited my account and "found" the correct part to order and less than 48 hours after my first email to them, my new part is already on it's way! I know it will only take minutes to finish my repair and am really impressed with their response time and professionalism when there is a problem. Freezer door rack was missing.
I snapped one of the end caps in, put the rack rail into the cap, placed the other cap on the other end, and snapped that end in. Because I received the exact parts needed, the entire repair took about one minute.

Defrost timer was not working

freezing up
I damaged the timer while moving the fridge and did not realize it and it took 10 minutes to change out. "note" don't panic when it don't come immediately there is a dial in the front of the timer you can turn with a flat head screwdriver that will activate the timer

End caps were broken, shelf bar kept falling off.
I unsnapped the old clips from the bar, installed one end cap to freezer door, clipped other end cap to bar, slid bar into end cap installed in door then snapped other end cap into place. Repeated for second shelf bar as those end caps were broken as well. No tools were needed.

Door Handle broke when a container came out of the freezer and hit it.
Just put the new handle on with screw driver

Handle broke at screw hold down area
Remove the screws and pivot handle. Push handle downward and it slides off the screw head sticking out of door. To replace handle, just work in reverse. It
Didn’t take more than 3-4 minutes to do the whole job.

Broken doorhandle

Door handle had too much space between the door and handles.
Use the rubber brushing to fill the gap.

REFRIDGERATOR SECTION WANST GETTING COLD
freezer section remove ice trays ,shelves,unplug ice tray.use 1/4 nut driver remove back panel,use hair dryer thaw ice from evap coil ,unplug tstat remove install new one.plug in ice maker,put back panel back on ,ice maker and shelves plug refridgerator back in

needed new refrigerator door handle
took less than 5 minutes had to undo two screws and take out old broken off part and put new handle on and put screws in

Freezer door caps
They were the wrong parts. I read a question another person asked and it advised to order these parts. Didn't want to waste my time anymore and threw them away.

Freezer wasn't cooling - compressor not engaging
Ordered the Capacitor and the Thermostat Control. Parts were received in a matter of a few days, easy to install, but did not fix the problem. Had to call a repairman to fix the problem (compressor relay - this part not available to order for this model number with Parts Select). Will continue to use Parts Select in the future for other parts, but not happy that the actual part I needed was not available - had to use other methods.
