all 8/32 and holes should have been tapped
had to saw off the shaft to get the yoke off and tap the holes for the 8/32 screws. all holes should have been tapped by the factory. Other than these problems, everything else went pretty good.

The freezer was making ice on the food. The Ref.'s gasket was ripped.
Emptied the freezer and removed the door. Removed the screws from the gasket and replaced the new gasket and lined up the new gasket put the door back on then the door would not close right. Fixed the problem.
Now the Referator removed all the food off the door and removed the door. Did the same as freezer and the door was having trouble closing. And the gaskets were not fitting right by not fitting tight. So we have to use a heat gun to make the gaskets fit tighter on both freezer and refrigerator. It also took the two of us to handle the job.

Ice Maker couldn't drop ice through the door.
I pulled the drive ring off of the icemaker and replaced it with the new part. Saved a $150 service call plus cost of part. It cost me a little over $11.00 and a repairman probably would have charged $30.

The ice tray would no longer release ice
Just took old ice tray out and put new one right in place in less than 30 seconds. I am very pleased with how fast the tray arrived after being ordered. if only everything ordered could be made this simple. You are a great company to deal with.

Ice would not come out of try completely due to age and residue buildup
After trying to clean and use chemicles to remove residue, I found that it would not work. Ice would build up in tray causing an overflow in the fill process. this would freeze cubes in tray below causing dispenser not to work properly, New tray seemed to solve the problem. Removed old and installed new

Replaced refrigerator light assbly
replacement was relative easy. The problem came with wire connector that had to be cut, stripped and crimped. The crimping was the dificult part. the connector was a problem to crimp.

freezer would not freeze
inst said,"50 pct of the time this calls for new capacitor," so we changed the capacitor. Same prob. It also said,"25 pct of the time it's the bi-metal thermostat" So we ordered it. We removed the plastic rear panel from inside the freezer comp. using small nut driver. Here we found much ICE surrounding the defrost unit, three inches thick. We thawed the whole mess. and the freezer has worked fine ever since. I think my habit of getting ice cubes from the inside container rather than from the ice cube dispenser, had kep t the freezer door open too much, interfering with the normal defrost cycle and allowing ice to build up over time so that it finally defeated the system. My new rule, "get ice cubes only from the front."

Broken ice bin drive ring
Removed 6 screws to get at broken part. Had to remember the disassembly sequence to properly reassemble. The whole process was relatively simple. I saved about $125 which would have been the cost of a repairman coming to the house.
