Gasket on one of the side opening doors was torn and no longer a tight seal.
Fortunately, others had left comments about this installation, so proved very helpful. First thing was laying out the gasket flag on the counter to allow it to unbend, get out the kinks from shipping. While the new gasket was laying out on the counter, started removing the old gasket. As it had been there for 11 years, needed pliers to get a corner started. I was slow and careful removing the old gasket in case I needed to put it back in. A very helpful suggestion from others was to lightly rub dishwashing soap on the gasket edge that fits in the groove in the door. Again, slow and careful, got it installed, wiped off any excess dishwashing liquid, and the door closed with a better seal in a long time. Pleasantly surprised how easy this was to do!

The lights wouldn't always come on.
I actually watched a YouTube video for LG refrigerators. The hardest part was taking the wire harness out. Mine was really stuck in there. But got it, put the new switch in and viola it worked. Yay!

The door gaskets had become hard and curled up - would not seal properly
Watch YouTube videos on this topic if you are uncertain before tackling the job. The right door was easy to replace. Just pull the gasket with your fingers and it will come off easily. Place new gasket over door and use fingers to press it inside the groove few inches at a time. Pay attention to gasket orientation.
The left door is a bit harder because you need to remove the mullion at the door edge using a screw driver. Remove two screws on the center hinge and then slide the mullion up to disengage. Then unplug the wires to remove the mullion. Replace the gasket as described above and replace the mullion reversing the directions shown above.
Could not believe how easy it was!

Removed 4 screws then removed ice maker unit. Unplugged the old unit. Checked and verified the inlet tube was clean and not blocked. Plugged in the new unit. Placed unit into proper location and verified it was properly in place. Replaced the 4screws. Left side gasket was torn and would seal properly
Took off the French door Mullen by unscrewing middle area. Unconnected the wires for the door sensor. Then detached old gasket and replaced with new gasket. Reattached the wiring and snapped Mullen flap in place and finally rescrewed to the door. Seal is very good now.

Door switch would not turn on interior refrigerator light.
I had previously watched a YouTube video (do this first!!) on a similar Kenmore model so I knew what to look out for: (1) turned off power, (2) took thin putty knife to slip under outer lip of switch (most screwdrivers are too thick), (3) wiggled switch at front end to release the tab, (4) unplugged from the socket, (5) plugged in new switch, (6) popped new switch back into door, (7) turned on power. Voila !! Super easy. I couldn't believe it.

Ice maker not making ice, ice tray overfills and cannot dump, ice sticks together and will not dispense
This repair is pretty straight forward. Just remove the 3 screws that hold the ice maker and bin assembly in, unplug the wire harness connector, then remove it from the refrigerator door. Once removed you simply need to remove 3 more screws that hold the ice maker to the auger/bin frame, remove the temp sensor, and a couple pieces of tape. Re-assemble the new ice maker in reverse order and you are all set. I think part of the issue I was having was due to mineral buildup in the tray as well so it had a hard time cracking and removing the ice. Not sure why it was overfilling, maybe the sensor was broken or had buildup on it as well. This solved all the problems I was seeing and now it makes great ice that doesn't stick together and form a bridge in the bin.

Roller on rail broke off
easy repair. First step is you need to remove all food from bottom shelf and remove all three produce drawers. Then remove the meat drawer. You will need to lift the bottom self off the rail to remove. It is not heavy and does not need to be fully taken out of fridge - easier if you do but some what hard to get out.Unscrew the rail and unplug the old rail. Clean off the fridge - my fridge was gross behind the rail. Insert the rail into the fridge and then screw in the two screws. Place the bottom self back on the two rails and you are done.

Ice crystals appearing on the face of the freezer draws
Part Select had a great video which made the repair easy, using a putty knife to start removing the freeze door gasket. Once removed the install is simple just snap the new gasket into the track, but start at the corner. Other company's have a video requiring you to remove the entire freezer compartment out of the appliance, unnecessary waste of time and labor.
