Door basket broke
Opened the box. Removed wrapping. Washed the new part. Unloaded old basket. Removed old basket. Set in new basket. Loaded new basket. Closed the door. Even an 80 year old can do it!

Freezer door gasket needed replacing.
Simply removed old gasket. Started in a corner with installing the new gasket. It went in easily and quickly.

Broken wheel on rail for deli Drawer
Need to remove the deli drawer and shelf above. I took out the glass first to make shelf easier to handle. Unscrew old rail and put new one on. Took more time to empty items on shelf. My 17 year old son made the repair.

Large basket inside right door was broken.

Ice buildup in corner of freezer.
Reviewed instructions on YouTube. Removed storage box.Removed Philips head screw on either side of track. Lifted door and placed it on table. Using a flat blade screwdriver removed old gasket (it did not looked damaged). Pressed new gasket into groove in door. Replaced door onto track and replaced screws. Replaced storage box. No more ice buildup.

Broken wheel on right guide assembly rail that held deli tray
Removed drawers, removed shelf by lifting out for easy access to side rail...unscrewed 2 screws, unplugged circuit board. Plugged in circuit board replaced screws. Washed and replaced shelf, then drawers, then deli tray...done! THANK YOU for your nice part drawings to pick the right part!

icemaker quit
i first replaced valve as the water line hung up and broke the valve as i was moving fridge out,be careful about doing this,now i need to replace icemaker as its not working,ps it wasnt the water valve ,i broke it,so first replaced it now icemaker ,lg stinks for the 2 yrs icemaker has worked,my previous kenmore icemaker thru door worked for 23 yrs and was working the day i replaced it, the new electronic appliances are nice when they work!!!>Marvin

ice maker stopped working
replaced the ice maker with the new assembly kit, the longest time taken was to fit back the pull out door .. had to align the slots correctly and check that it slid back and forth easily.

replace hand screw
unfortunately my fridge stopped working. I purchased another but wanted to try and repair the old one. when ew one arrived, the old one was supposed to be put in garage but instead was hauled away. Had delivery return next day but they had as already removed and lost the handle screw for the bottom freezer and the screw that holds handle in place. ordered the handle screw and picked up the nut. very simple to install the screw and put handle back on.
