Fridge door wouldn’t shut
Took old door strip (spring broke) and installed new with spring It went well and was working in less than 5 minutes

ICE MAKER WAS LEAKING WATER ON THE FLOOR / CRACKED TRAY
REMOVED 4 SCREWS HOLDING UNIT IT DISCONECTED PLUG TO CONTROLER AND REMOVED IT BY PULLING OUT ON THE BOTTOM FIRST. TO INSTALL SLIDE THE UNIT UP AND IN FROM THE BOTTOM CONNECT THE PLUG AND INSTALL THE SCREWS. THE TOP SCREW HAS A PLASTIC SPACER WASHER. UNIT WILL NOT START TO MAKE ICE UNTILL IT REACHES TEMPATURE, GIVE IT TIME. WATER DESPENSER WILL WORK. CONTROLS ON THE FRONT OF THE DOOR WILL LIGHT UP NORMALY. I REMOVED MINE WHILE WAITING FOR PART TO ARRIVE, 4 DAYS. EVERYTHING WORKED EXCEPT WATER & ICE DESPENSER AND CONTROL DISPLAY ON THE DOOR.

Lights didn't come on when door was opened
I have moderate to good mechanical skills, but getting the old switch out was a sizeable challenge. Since this switch suffered some damage during extraction, I was lucky to have ordered a new one to replace it. Reinstall took approximately 90 seconds. PartSelect saved me an expensive service call.

bad switch
The 2 minute or so video was not exactly matching the model that we had but the instructions were very good and important. The switch was a little difficult to get out from the side of the refrigerator.

Broken plastic/glass
Now that you have to buy a complete assembly that includes the drawer in the classy window it's very simple to replace however you buying parts that you don't need simply because G no longer makes the window. Which I find rather odd being as though that they make the whole assembly think and sell windows by themselves for less than 2/3 of what I spent through the whole assembly

door slight switch failed
Covered the sidewall with tape to protect. Pried the switch out with knife blade and removed electric plug with needle nose pliers. placed plug in new switch and pushed switch into the hole in the side wall. Took about five minutes.

Previous glass shelf shattered into a million pieces while cleaning.

Ice Maker and Water dispenser stopped working
Pulled the fridge out.
Unscrewed the back cover and the one screw holding the value assemble.
undid the 2 hoses and replaced the part.

Icemaker not working
Removed ice bin
Unscrew the 3 screws.
Lift ice maker for the bottom to remove it but do not pull it until the power is unplug from the part.
Install the new part the same way you removed the old part.
Turn the switch and waiting 48 hours before the ice bin start getting ice

The hose that feeds the Ice Maker broke,right where it goes in the Fridge.
I actually didn't use what I got. Because there was all kinds of tubing coiled up in the door. We just fed the exsess all the way through the Fridge,and Bingo! It was done.

Spring broken on front plate
Unscrew two Phillip screws on center hing , push frt plate down and replace.

The old ice maker had cracked and broken, and would no longer make ice.
Six screws to remove the old one (I looked up the process on Youtube) and six screws had it back in tip top shape.
Three wire connections, two were plug in and one was a ground wire.
BTW: It was a 3 wire, not a 6 wire. I had ordered that by mistake and PartSelect made the return and replacement very easy.

The plastic cover on the butter area had broken.
Just had to slip the 2 pegs into the existing holes.
