Switch stops working
Replace with new switch. this is the third switch i have replaced in 10 years. the only part, besides a light bulb, that has gone bad. obviously this is a problem with this model for Kenmore, or just poor switch design.

Refrigerator no longer had power
Refrigerator seemed to have lost power. compressor wasn't on and no lights were on. Cricuit breaker checked out ok. Traced power with a voltage sensor to the main board on the back of the Fridge. Had power all the way to the PCB Assembly. Removed PCB board using pliers to pinch the mounting points. installed new board and reconnected all wires. Very easy. Fridge turned on after that. Success.
