fridge door switch did not work
I removed the switch housing (4 screws), replacing the switch in the housing was a snap. It took 5 minutes, cost $8 and light works like new!
Why didn't I order this part and do the repair earlier? Very simple.

Was not dispensing ice, motor shaft had broken
Once the part arrived it would have been an extremely simple install, however the part was shipped defective. Only 1 of the six potential mounting holes had been tapped. Leaving 5 without threading whatsoever. After demanding a refund I was told I would have to pay for shipping again to send it back and it would talk 7 to 20 weeks ........ yes you read that correctly. For my return to be processed and I could be issued my refund. Long story short I tapped the holes myself and was then able to install. Everything works but I will never buy ANYTHING from this website again.

The water dispensing lever was cracked.
1.Turn off the water supply.
2.Removed the front cover where the ice and water is dispensed.
3.Removed the black plate over the dispensing area to allow more working room. ( 3 flat head screws)
4.Removed the 2 phillips screws holding the end of the water dispensing tube. This will allow you to get the dispensing arm over the water tube.
5. Removed the screw that holds the spring in place.
6. Its real tricky, but you have to place the spring onto the arm so that the tension will cause the arm to move forward when released, shuting off the flow of water. At the same time replace the screw thats holds the spring in place.
7. Reattache the 2 crews holding the end of the dispensing tube, the 3 screws holding the black plate, replace the front cover, turn the water back on and have yourself a cool drink of water.

Auger blades separated from hub.
First I removed the screw holding the ice door shaft (at the rear of the ice container). Removed clip of which the screw was holding in place (no need to remove the clip from the shaft). Then I removed the front cover screws, separated front cover from ice container. Door shaft is removed with front cover assembly, no need to remove anything else from front cover. Pulled out auger shaft, removed circlip (snap ring) and washer from front of shaft. Used an adjustable wrench to remove plastic nut from front end of shaft. CAUTION - the plastic nut is reverse thread, make sure to turn it clockwise to loosen and remove. Pulled off broken auger then reassembled with new auger in the reverse order as previously described.

Ice bin auger drum fins broke off from the main shaft, stopping the production of crushed ice.
Replaced the Ice Bin Auger,I ordered from PartSelect, which had much thicker housing and fins than the original .You remove the clip from the end of the shaft and a nylon nut which is a left hand which is opposite threads from most nuts. Its a good idea to take a picture of how the blades and spacers are ,because if not put back in the same direction their will be no crushed ice.It now works better and quiter than when it was new.

Take it apart, replace with the new one, put it back together. So simple even a democrat girl could do it.

My chrome colored overflow grille had corroded.
This was an easy replacement involving removal of the old overflow grille, cleaning the water dispenser area, then placing the new black colored grille in place.
