Broke the Rocker Switch in Fridge side
Popped out with butter knife and unplugged 3 prong connector and reversed with anew switch.
But, unfortunately it got broken again exactly same way as before.
So, I ordered same switch again for 2nd time.
Maytag should recall that Rocker Switch and build with better materials.

The Right Pantry Drawer support pin for the lid had snapped off
The Youtube Video was Extremely helpful--the model they worked on was a Whirlpool, and is held in with 1/4" machine screws. The KitchenAid is largely identical, but doesn't use screws. There is a plastic release you depress to free the Right Support from the cabinet. Otherwise, the process is identical to what's shown on the Youtube video. The Fridge "came with" when we bought the house, and we've already replaced the door seals using this website (another easy fix). Of course, when gently reinstalling the lid I snapped the pin on the Left Pantry Drawer support. So i've ordered that part too--i'll chalk it up to age/wear&Tear. The Left is much easier than the Right, as the Right Support has a sliding humidifier setting slide. So the Right is slightly more involved, but is also an easy fix. No tools required at all for either drawer support on the KitchenAid. Just be very patient and gentle as you re-install the drawer lid.

Ice maker stopped making ice
Remove 1 screw under ice maker. Gently pull downwards to unhook ice maker. Disconnected 4 pin wire connector. Remove and set aside the cover and wire loop you will need on new ice maker. Reverse the steps to install new maker. Once new ice maker is installed you will have to wait 2-4 hours for ice. There is a thermostat that will need to reach 10 degrees F to operate.

Ice maker stopped functioning
Part received was what I needed. There was one issue--the 'feed' opening to receive water and direct it into the ice tray was a side feed and what I needed was a back feed. That means I had to do some exchanging of parts to make it work. That exercise took more time that the actual installation.

This is almost embarassing but you asked....
Once the part arrived, which was very quickly BTW..all I had to do was remove the old filter and then just screw the new one into place....Now I just happen to be both female and blonde but was able to get the job done in less than 15 minutes (that includes opening the box) and with very little water dripping from the old filter!!! Looks like I could work as the Maytag repair woman soon!!

Boyfriends freezer door wouldn’t shut completely
I got really tired of taking food out covered in icicles and stabbing a huge block of ice out of the bottom. Turns out all he needed was a little wheel with cogs and I looked up the sticker model number on this site and clicked the part of the fridge. So simple, wish I would’ve done it sooner.

I had a loose fitting old condensor fan blade on my new motor.
I made a temporary repair by drilling the old blade plastic hub and put a small screw in it to hold it on to the shaft until the new blade arrived. The new blade came in within the two days I needed before Thanksgiving. I removed the old and pushed on the new. There were 8 screws on the back guard and two to hold the motor on. It was a snap.
Thank you PartSelect.com The wife is very, very happy now, we had 51 coming over for Thanksgiving. :)

One of the light bulbs went out on my Whirlpool refrigerator.
I changed the bulb but it still didn’t work. I ordered a bulb holder and replaced it and it works properly now. It was an easy repair, remove the bulb, gently pry the bulb holder out with a screwdriver and snap the new one in.
It was useful that under the description of the part in the catalog, it showed that this part was often used to repair this issue. The service was great and the delivery was fast.
