Pump flow rate insufficient to drain tub completely
I watched the video then followed the procedure accessing the impeller/grinder from inside the tub. Had I not watched it, I would have torn into it from the bottom by removing the motor, etc. with disastrous results. I was quite depressed when installation of the impeller kit did not resolve the problem. I remembered from the survey that 56% of problems were solved with this kit; BUT, another 24% found that the check valve on the discharge line was the problem. So I removed it and lo and behold, it was partially plugged with broken pieces from the old impeller. The 1 page sheet that comes with the kit is simply a diagram of the parts included, there are no instructions ---- watch the video!!! All said and done, my experience with PartSelect was first class. They are 5 Stars in every category and I would highly recommend them.

Unit would not drain upon completion of the wash and rinse cycles
Replaced the lower seal, drain impeller, chopper blade, and wash impeller. Problem is still not solved but the inner parts have been replaced. Only thing logical next is the check valve. Unit cycles well and if I turn the dial to just before the rinse cycle and watch, I do see water draining from the unit...Of course while replacing these parts, I checked other things and found a loose spring behind the front cover. It can be seen on the diagram as it is part of the detergent door mechanism (or so I believe), but it is not clear on where the spring actually connects to.

Dishwasher was leaking
The repair was fairly simple and made easier with an installation video. The repair went well and there's no more leak.

The dishwasher failed to start.
Initially, I was going to call a repair-person to fix the dishwasher, but decided to check and see what was available on-line. I was very surprised to find a video on YouTube for my specific model. Even more surprising was the relative ease to perform the repairs, after watching the video. I have the proper tools, so I disassembled, per the video and found the problem. I was elated to see how easy it was to order the parts kit. It came in three days, and within 1/2 hour after parts arrival, I had the dishwasher purring like a kitten. What an excellent service. If you can turn a screwdriver, you can fix your appliance, via these well-done videos.

The machine was not draining properly and dishes were not being cleaned thoroughly
The video was great! I couldn't have done it without it. The repair took me a little longer than expected because I did not have the right tools (torx head screwdriver), but once I went out and bought it, the rest was fairly easy. The old impeller had some build-up on it, so it was pretty hard taking it off the motor shaft: this was one of the hardest parts, since I was afraid of forcing it out and breaking something. Once I cleaned up the motor shaft, however, the new impeller went in easily. Both the old impeller and washer seal were damaged. Overall, I was very happy with Partselect's fast shipping, easy-to-use website and incredibly helpful installation videos. The machine is now not only NOT leaking anymore, but dishes are coming out MUCH cleaner. The dishwasher is over ten years old, so I was happy that this low-cost fix made such a big difference and we didn't have to buy a whole new dishwasher.

Dishwasher grinding noise
Heard a grinding noise in our dishwasher one night recently while it was in the drain mode. Water wasn't draining out so I had to siphon it out with a tube, cup, and rags, then looked up information about the washer/dryer on the internet and found PartsSelect. I watched the repair video they provided and decided to give the repair a try. I began to remove all the necessary parts following the instructional video.
The hardest part of the job came early on, and once that was completed the rest of the job was a cinch. The center screw holding the upper impeller was the hardest part to remove. I tried to use the adjustable wrench on the hex shaped nut molded to the impeller while turning the screw, but that old screw was so tight I was afraid I'd strip the molded impeller nut.
I then tried a 1 inch nut without the driver attached to it but with a pair of vice grips clamped at about 45 degree angle on the 1 inch nut and set on the molded impeller nut while at the same time trying to remove the screw by putting the small nut driver through the top of the 1 inch nut and turning it. No luck there either. It would not budge.
By this time I was entertaining the idea of buying a new 5 to 800.00 dishwasher.
Well I had nothing else to lose except 5 to $800.00, so I reverted to caveman technology.
I ended up using a small chisel and wood mallet to get the impeller off the shaft. Since the impeller is made of a rubber like material, it came off easily in pieces using some careful strikes with the hammer on the impellers molded nut. When this was complete, I unscrewed and removed the filter housing.
The impeller screw, which was still in the motor shaft, and was removed 'after' this because there was no impeller or filter chamber in the way. There was a small space between the screw and the motor shaft since the impeller was removed from around that screw so I first tightened it a little bit, then finally was able to loosen the screw. You would think that screw had been super glued into that shaft but it finally came out. After that I removed the chopper blade and found that the spring attached to it was bent and had tore the shaft of the 'lower' drain impeller to pieces. After cleaning up the impeller pieces I ordered the drain and wash impeller kit from PartSellect. It arrived in a couple of days and the new parts installation went quickly.I was especiially relieved that the new screw and impeller went on without a hitch.
I didn't use the new shaft seal provided because it was a different height then the original seal and wouldn't allow the cover to the drain impeller to seat properly. The height of the new seal also caused the new drain impeller to push or spring up too high. The original seal looked fine so I used that and it worked just fine also. Started the dishwasher up for a test and it all worked flawlessly. No noise no leaks. This was my first washer dryer repair. Following the Part Sellect instructional video with Steve explaining while doing the removal of old and installation of the new parts was a breeze. SO, here's my conclusion. Folks, for under $50.00 I saved a lot of money and expect that I'll get at least a few years more use from this old dishwasher. Thanks again to PartSelect and Steve for your help.

Not draining
The dishwasher was making grinding noises and then stopped draining at all. I was able to follow the video directions and replace the parts from the drain and wash impeller kit, but it did not solve the problem. Must be the pump or something else. Was worth a try and partselect.com was good with service and price.

Unusual noise, then not draining completely
My model was DU7600XS0. I disassembled according to the video and the parts diagram here. I found a piece of metal, a pebble, and a wrecked drain impeller. I cleaned out all the debris and began reassembly. I found that the chopper blade shipped with this kit has a lip and will not fit over the metal drain impeller sleeve on this model. It needs to, or else it will not screw together properly and the impeller will not be able to turn. My old one was undamaged, so I used that instead. Also, the large black wash impeller has a shaft that is longer than the original part and because of that, it would not screw on. Again, the original wash impeller was fine, so I used the old one. I replace the gaskets and screwed everything else back together. It works great now. No water is left after the cycle anymore and the sound it makes is back to normal. Money well spent on this kit!
