Door shelf bin fixture broke off
This was the easiest thing to repair in my house! All I needed to do was to snap the appropriate new shelf in the place where the prior piece was and we were back in business. A caveat to anyone else who might try it-get your Mfgr/model number straight as well as measure the length of the shelf to be replaced. Since my brand was not listed in the pull-down menu for replacements, the first time I ordered the shelf replacement piece, I ordered the shelf that looked exactly like the one I was replacing however the replacement was a few inches too small! Refrigerator evaporator coil was icing up
The evaporator coil is behind the freezer. Remove the rack that makes the shelf and remove two 1/4” hex head screws I the back of the freezer to access the coil.
I used a hair dryer to melt the ice off the coil.
The thermostat clips on the refrigeration pipe to the coil. Remove the old thermostat and cut the wires at least a few inches from the thermostat. Clip the new thermostat on the pipe and strip about a 1/4” of the wire ends. The electrical connectors (provided with the new part) must be crimped to connect the wires.

ICE MAKER NOT MAKING ICE.
LOOSENED THE TWO SMALL SCREWS THAT HOLD THE ICE MAKER UP INSIDE THE FREEZER. DISCONNECTED THE WIRING HARNESS. TOOK THE OLD ICE MAKER OUT AND JUST INSTALLED THE NEW ONE IN REVERSE ORDER. LATER THAT DAY I HAD FRESH ICE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN WEEKS!

Kid broke to bottom door rack
This was so easy it took longer to open the door than it did to install the rack. WOW. Nice to see something fits without messing with it. Thanks.

the gear was stripped on the old ice maker and had to be replaced
was very easy. just ordered a new ice maker which was delivered in a few days. The installation was so simple. Just plugged the new ice maker in and hung the unit on the 2 screws. And then tightened the screws with a 1/4 in nut driver.

broken bin door on rental house refridgerator
the repair was simple but the real story was the easy to read blow up diagram of the refridgerator after I entered the model no. Everything was numbered and I new exactly what I was ordering.

Broken door bin and rack

Fan Blade had broke off
This repair on this model is super easy because the shroud for the fan is not really attached except for the bottom so I was able to gently bend it to give em enough space to pull the broken fan off and put the new one on.

The crisper pan cracked
I took the cracked pan out, waited for the new pan to arrive (2 days) and slid the new pan right in. It was so easy.

broken door rack
took the old one out, put the new one in. Will be an ongoing problem due to the flimsy nature of the rack. Refrigerator is in a rental unit. Great to know parts a just a phone call away, and arrive super fast.
