Gasket was worn
Removed all the screws. Replaced the gasket put all the screws back. This would work great if the door wasn't out of alignment.
Now I have a new refridgerator coming on Monday.

Door gasket was ripped and food wouldn't stay cold
First I removed the old gasket by pulling it off the door. Then I removed the screws from the door. Next I placed the new gasket around the door frame. Finally, I replaced the screws in the door to completely attach the gasket.

The refrigerator light would not work ...even after replacing the bulb.
I used a flat head screwdriver to pry open the front of the socket as I pushed the socket toward the freezer side. I unplugged the two wires connected to the socket then re-connected the two wires to the new socket and popped the new socket back in. I then put a new light bulb in and we had light again in the fridge.

Handle and End were missing
After first ordering the wrong end part, I reordered the correct part and successfully attached the handle end and handle to the refrigerator door. The handle itself was too long, and I had to cut it down to the correct size. I am a realtor and provided the service to my buyer of the condo that was my listing. Thank goodness for your company and the ability to buy parts for an old model!

gasket was deformed
The gasket was held to the door by the door's interior plastic shelves. Remove the 12 screws holding the interior mold to the door and the gasket comes off too. Then it is just a matter of fitting the new gasket around the mold and then screwing the mold back onto the door.

broken glass shelf
The "repair" itself was only a replacement of a glass shelf but I just wanted to say that I ordered this part mid-day wednesday and when I got home from work thursday night it was on my deck, I was shocked. Also it was glass and was very securely packaged Great job parts direct.

I dropped the glass insert while cleaning it and it shattered in a million pieces
I went to the internet to find the replacement glass and shocked at some of the prices....I found PartSelect.com on a blog and the prices were nearly 50% less than the other suppliers. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong part the first time and had to send it back but after speaking to a Customer Service Rep, I got the right part ordered, recieved it two days later and "voila"....fit perfectly....I so grateful to PartSelect.com for their assistance and the pricing is fabulous..
