The crisper drawer was broken on the slides and kept falling out. Also the filter needed changing as the red light was on.
By sliding the drawer out and lifting it up at the end, the drawer will come right out. By installing the new drawer in the same sequence, the job is completed. As for the filter, it is located inside the refrigerator compartment on the upper right side.Simply remove any items from the top shelf that may be in the way, and then push in on the tab that extends out from the filter housing. The filter and connector will swivel down at that point, simply hold the connector in one hand to stablize and with the other hand, twist the filter counter-clockwise to remove the filter. To reinstall the new filter, remove all protective covering from filter. Plase filter against filter connector and turn until tight (1/4-1/2 turn).Raise complete assemble upwads until tab snaps back into place. Installation is now complete, next purge the air out from water supply by placing a pitcher or other large container under the dispenser and activate.Run water for a minute or so until all air is removed.

Removing the existing filter by rotating as directed and then dislodging from 'docking' station proved difficult. Turns out, the old filter is under a bit of vacuum pressure and getting the unit to separate or release was a challenge.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. I was concerned that I would be too forceful for the plastic assemblies and would break something; deliberate motions and a steady thought process on the problem helped disengage the darned old filter!

water filter needed replacing
I unscrewed the old one and replaced it with the new one. The real benefit was I got the exact part I needed w/o a 30 minute drive and sales people that ignored me. I had gone to the local store the day before and come home with the wrong part because i could not get assistance and the part # I had did not match what was labled on the package. I used the same part # on the website and got exactly what was needed, less that 48 hrs after I ordered it. thanks for the prompt service. we will be a repeat customer

Door would not close
After emptying the refrig. door, I unscrewed the plate on the top of the refrigerator that covered the door bolts. Then off with the three bolts. I removed the door by lifting it up a few inches. The two parts of the door cam were easily removed and replaced with the new part. BEFORE REPLACING the door spread vasoline on both cam parts.
(Not after as I did. The second time you do any of these repairs go SO much better :o)
After putting the door back on, adjust the tension of the screws holding the door in place if needed to align the door on the cams so that it shuts completely. Failure to do this will require taking the top off the door again. (see comment above on "... second time...")
If all is properly aligned, the door should swing completely shut.
Even with the mistakes that required removing the door to lubricate the cams, and removing it AGAIN to readjust the screws on the top to properly align the door on the cams, this was a twenty minute job. My wife and I were still speaking to one another at the end of it- a sure sign of an easy repair.

Ice maker would not turn allowing the ice to come out the dispenser. The ice bucket was also cracked from kids (ok and parents) getting frustrated and shaking the ice bucket!
Piece of cake!
Removed the old ice bucket which was cracked and ice would not dispense. The Helix Cap also looked worn which is why I ordered both parts. (Probably if not for the shaking of the ice bucket the Helix cap would have been the only part required. We ended up cracking the ice bucket) Removed the four hex screws from the auger system on the old ice bucket with a socket wrench. Removed the old Helix end cap from the auger system and replaced with the new. Literally just slips on the auger. Reinstalled auger system back onto the new ice bucket. Total time not even five minutes.
Working great! Probably saved $ 75.00 - $ 100.00 on a service call. Half of a wrench on skill level needed (One=Low skill level/ Five=High skill level)
Great response & delivery from Parts Select!
Definitely recommend highly.

while closing the door, the light switch fouled, resulting in the switch breaking
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.

Ice Dispenser had jammed up and become inoperative
The parts discription was a bit vague and I wasn't sure exactly what I was ordering, but I received everything I needed and it works fine. The combination screw conveyor/ice crusher came in one piece. The ice cube bin is a plastic assembly that snaps apart. I used a wide blade screw driver carefully to facilitate assembly/disassembly. Once you have it apart the old converyor slips out and the new one slides in. Do not remove the two screws that hold the new assembly together. You need a phillips scredriver to take out two of the screws from the old assembly and put in the new one. That is, there are four screws and you need to trasfer two of them. Everything now works fine.

Original parts had cracked due to cold weather
Original parts froze when the fridge was stored in the garage, so when we brought it in and hooked up the water supply we discovered the cracks.
I used a wrench to remove the back lower cover of the fridge. attached to that cover were both the parts I needed to replace. I removed one nut each per part so they were free of the back cover. Once free I unhooked the two electrical plugs per part and reattached the new part so as not to confuse the positions of the wiring. Then I did the same thing with the two hoses attached to each part, swapping old part for new. Once connected, I reattached the new parts to the back cover and replaced the back cover to the fridge. Connected the water line and tried the ice maker and water source on the door. I didn't realize it, but the filter, located in the refrigerator side of the unit had also frozen and cracked, so I had water now pouring from the fridge! Replaced that filter, cleaned up the water and everything is working great!
800 number customer service person Kim originally helped me locate the correct parts via schematic diagram, as no part numbers were visible on my broken parts. She was incredibly helpful and got the correct parts on her first guess ( she told me it was a guess but she was right on the money).

Had to replace a hose connector at the base of my refrig/frreezer
Perhaps a helpful hint:
When aI received the hose adapter/connector, I inserted the 2 hose ends only to have water drip from the connection.
I used a utility knife to remove an inch from each side, then reinserted the hoses. That made the differnce. Dry as a bone.
