Unscrewed clamp holding water tube to refrigerator ice maker. Pulled water tube from ice maker and water valve inlet. Cut the new tubing to the exact same length and inserted one end to the water valve inlet and the other end to the ice maker then screwed clamp holding water tube back to the refrigerator ice maker.

This safety glass is very fragile... it broke under its own weight into a million pieces because I held it just near one edge... I ordered the part through Parts Select that evening and had it in my hands in less than 36 hours!!! Installation only required putting it back in the refrigerator.... Service and price from Parts Select was nothing short of amazing... especially considering that this 5 sq ft piece of fragile glass had to be shipped without breaking! Thanks for great service!

Could not figure out why this was happening suddenly. Then remembered I had recently changed the lid to one I had stored for over two years in the garage. They had sent me a replacement lid when the unit was less than a year old because the origianl had a crack in the clear section. Noticed it seemed a little warped. Thought I would replace it to see if that solved the
problem.
We had to replace the side panel of the draawer because the warped lid had broken the peg off of one side. I didn't want that to happen again.
The new lid did the job....This company is the only one I will use in the future for my appliances. Very easy to find parts and the pricing was better.

I just unscrewed the plate that locks in the light switch (screwdriver) and unplugged the old faulty part and plugged in the new switch, screwed the cover back on and I was done!

Easy!

And I am not Mr. Fix-it!

The good news is that the part (the wheel was available.) I bought two in the event that the other wheel may break in the future. The bad news is that the housing that holds the wheel was riveted together by the wheel axle. It would have been nice to know that before I bought the part and if the housing with the wheel installed was available. The refrigerator was at my summer house a hundred miles away. Anyway, we had to grind the end of the riveted axle to dislodge it from the wheel housing. With the axle dislodged from the housing we were able to install the wheel and then hammer the end of the axle flat to keep in place, like the original rivet installation. It is not perfect but it held and should be fine. I am glad I was able to get the part and will be back in the future, if in need of other parts.

Had to disassemble ice maker to install part. . .

First I unplugged the refrigerator. I removed the freezer drawer and shelf. Ice maker and then the air duct. The air duct was a little difficult as it is held in with plastic tabs that have to be pried with a screw driver with care as to not over stress the part. I was then able to remove the back panel with the nut driver. This exposed the fan motor on its bracket. The new motor was a retrofitted part from the original. However following the supplied directions it was quite easy to change out and to make the new wire connections. After making sure that everything was clear from the fan I plugged the refrigerator in to check the operation of the motor. It worked perfectly. I then unplugged the fridge and replaced the back panel, duct. Ice maker, shelve and drawer. The fridge now works better than it ever has and we had to readjust the temperature control as it was a little hard to the lettuce. I found partsselect very good to deal with. Sears told us the part was back ordered and we would be without our fridge for a month, not acceptable at all. Partselect had the part and at a better price. And we had the unit running again in a couple of days. I am very satisfied with the experience.

you need to take the deli drawer out, make sure your flat head screw driver is large enough for the head of the screw as screwing into the plastic is a bit difficult. Other than that there are 2 screws and its pretty easy.

I broke the left side end cap the holds the pantry door on.
I search the internet for the part and happened to run across part select. I order the part and received the part with in 3 business days. It took less than 30 minutes to replace the end cap.

The great reviews help me with my choice to order the part from part select. I will order parts from them again.

The other guy described it perfectly so all I can add is that this repair was as simple as they come. Don't hesitate.

It was a very simple operation and was done in no time.

Doing it myself saved me at least $100.00 or more.

I was very happy and satisfied with the part and how doing it myself saved me a lot of time and money.

First I removed the existing copper ice maker line and then installed a plastic line. I then tried the appliance, with no change. I then removed and replace the primary water valve and then tested that as well. There was no change in the outcome. So I removed and replaced the secondary water valve and tested that as well and I noticed a significant change in water pressure, and in volume.

turn off water and unplug fridge. remove ice maker bottom mounting screw. just loosen the 2 top mounting screws. unplug wire harness from back of fridge. remove old icemaker from freezer compartment. once removed, salvage square endcover and reinstall on new maker. unfasten wire harness from old maker and reinsatll on new one. reinsert thermal wire in new ice maker holding bracket. remove second wiring bracket and reinstall on new maker to hold remaining wires (not mentioned on "how to-" video). remove old ice maker on/off bale and reinstall on new one. remount new maker to top mounting screws, reinsert harness plug into fridge. replace bottom screw,

Took off old cover 3 screws...removed metal track and 2 other plastic sliding bars for air flow..put on new cover and carefully put back deli cover on plastic pins..easy fix...lousy design by maytag again! Thanks to PartSelect easy and prompt service and delivery!

Pulled the broken pantry door off, and snapped the new door in place. Vry simple.
