The center crisper rail broke.
First of all, I watched the very helpful video on your site, when the part arrived, I installed the rail all by myself...I am a female, and it was very easy..thank you for the video information, very helpful..

Flange on the original center crisper rail cracked off
Not including the time I spent to thoroughly clean the shelf, 2 crisper bins and the bottoms and sides of the inside of the refrigerator, having been faced with the obvious opportunity, this job takes about 30 seconds! After clearing, carefully lift the glass shelf from its frame, remove the broken rail and insert the new rail. Lower the glass shelf into the frame. Voila! Fini!

Rail broken

Compressor having hard time kicking on
I simply watched the repair video and did it! Super easy, needed start device and capacitor. As easy as unplugging the old and adding the new. The video helped and gave me confidence. Wives can fix fridges too! Saved me $2500. Looks like I'll need a new excuse if I want a new fridge.

Broken center crisper rail
These plastic storage refrigerator racks can break relatively easily. Fortunately, the replacement of the center crisper rail is very easy. Just remove all the food items from the flat shelf above the crispers. The flat shelf (glass in our model) comes out as well as the crispers. When you remove the shelf and crispers, the center crisper rail is replaced by turning the frame upside down. It fits right in and is secure when you turn the frame upright. Don't try to make this replacement in situ, too many fragile plastic tabs that can possibly break.

Very noisy when openning and closing

Old drip pan had many cracks and leaked
Removed back cover. Removed fan with mount which was a little difficult. Installed new pan and parts that were removed. Part came in one day. Great service.

The tray that catches the defrost drainage was cracked and leaking.
Unplug the refrigerator and pull it out so you can work behind it.I had to get a helper to lean the refrigerator forward and let it rest on a towel I placed on the countertop. The tray was underneath the refrigerator near the back so I leaned it forward enough to remove the metal plate that holds the tray in place. I placed a scotch behind the front wheels to keep it from rolling backward off the counter it was resting on. I had to remove the cover from the unit on the lower back side of the refrigerator to see how the tray was moumted. Once you remove the plate you have to slide the fan off the tray and then you can remove the tray. Simply reverse the whole process to install the new tray, upright the refrigerator and plug it back in to the outlet.

center crisper rail snapped in two
It was so simple! Removed the glass shelf that sits atop the vegetable bins, inserted the center crisper rail, put the glass shelf back on top of it and replaced the vegetable bins. I loved that I didn't have to bother my husband to do it! Very happy at how fast the part came after I ordered it.

center crisper rail broken
remove crisper baskets. Remove glass shelf above baskets. remove broken rail note front and back end of rail. Place new rail with same orientation as old rail. Very easy repair.

It was easy to find on the site because of the great diagram of my Amana and it was super easy to repair- just had to drop it in place - paid 20 dollars with shipping - Im sure it would have cost me over $100 if I would have called a repair man

Replace center rail of crisper drawers
Lift the glass shelf up, slip center rail in place, lower shelf. Time 1 minute.It takes more time to remove everything on the shelf than to replace the part.
