5967954301 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

I made a temporary repair by drilling the old blade plastic hub and put a small screw in it to hold it on to the shaft until the new blade arrived. The new blade came in within the two days I needed before Thanksgiving. I removed the old and pushed on the new. There were 8 screws on the back guard and two to hold the motor on. It was a snap.

The old plactic ring can be removed with flat bladed screw driver, starting on the right side prying it up worked best for me. The new seal snaps in only one way take your time to get it wright.

Removed the food bins and lower shelf. Unscrewed the end cap. Removed the drawer hinge. Re-installed hing on new end cap. Installed the new end cap. Re-installed drawers and shelf. DONE!

Great graphics on the website helped to correctly idenitfy the required part. Part arrived quickly and well packed. One of the easiest transactions ever!

The toughest part was pulling the refrigerator from the wall....After removing the back-bottom access panel the compressor is right there with the Start-Dev and Cap..Took a few min to remove and install new parts....Very Simple and works great...no more clicking..

Removed old gasket and installed the new one. Used a hairdryer to smooth out the edges.

Remove the grate at the back of the refrigerator. Remove the existing drawn tube. Replace the exiting drain tube with the updated drain tube. Check to see if water was draining properly. Replace the grate. Sit back and have a beer.

Removed the whole ice maker unplug one wire harness replaced ice tray with new one.

Replaced motor it was not issue. Now I am stuck with a $300 motor I cannot return. When I say will not dispense ice everyone thinks it does not make ice. Auger does not turn to push ice out the door. Reason I thought it was auger motor when you push lever on door the auger turns about one eight of a turn. So, it would seem it is getting signal and power. Cannot find any articles on this specific issue. If anyone has a suggestion, please share.

I was hesitant to remove old seal, after I removed, I lined up new seal, and the seal popped into the slots very easily. Easy repair, no tools, worked great. The seal takes about 24 hour to seat itself for a great fit.

Googled how to replace door gaskets and watched a video and did what it said and was so easy. took longer to remove everything and the shelves and storage bins and wash down the refrigerator than replace the door gaskets.

Really easy - Remove drawers, remove glass shelf and associated support rails, remove drawer slide from old endcap, remove old endcap, reverse proceedure installing new endcap - now the hard part, have a cool softdrink while you carry the old endcap and packing material from the new one out to the trash.

Removed glass shelf and inserted plastic running bar for drawers

Just removed drawers and glass plate. Put in divider and replaced drawers and glass plate. I was done in 5 minutes. no tools required.

Took off old one and just replaced new, very easy and corrected problems!

An ideal opportunity to clean the tracks for the glass top and sides. I just removed the two (2) screws with nut driver and gently eased the end cap off by slightly pulling it forward and up, inserting the lid onto the new endcap and slipping the cap back into place securing with the two screws. as easy as pie. I did not change the right end cap as there was no need for it, But if U have to change it U must also first disconnect the back plate.
