There was little or almost nothing to change out the End Cap, two screws on the End Cap and two screws on slide. It took longer to removed and replace the two drawers and shelve than it did to replace the End Cap. The part I ordered was exactly what I needed.

Followed your instructions: gasket came coiled in the box and was slightly curled up. Both left & right side of gasket were linked. Followed your instructions to properly restore the shape. Pulling the old gasket off and installing the new one took just a few minutes

Awesome! Couldn't ask for it any better. I watched the video from Partselect multiple time and was just as easy as they said it would be. It took me longer to watch the video four times than it did for me to install it. I have a habit of 10 minute projects turning into a couple hours and this took about 10 minutes. Thanks.

The old gasket peeled out easily. No tools needed. The replacement gasket fit right in the groove. I did not need to immerse the gasket in warm water or use a hair dryer. Nifty trick: once the new gasket is in place, close the freezer door. Run your finger in the center groove of the gasket, which will push the magnet against the fridge. Leave the door closed for an hour. The gasket has then assumed a perfect fit and will continue to fit perfectly.

Just pulled the old one off with fingers, and pressed the new one in place.

I did a few tests with the old ice maker and determined that it was the ice maker itself that was faulty. The replacement part I ordered exceeded my expectations in the time it took to get the part. I reused the arm, wire harness and clamps from the old icemaker. Then it was a simple install into the bottom freezer compartment, turning on the water supply and bingo...lots of ice cubes.

Remove broken parts with philips screw driver (6 screws). Replace encaps while attaching pantry drawer lid. Insert center rail and new drawer.

I pulled the refrigerator out from the wali slowly so not to damage the water line to the ice maker. Then with a nut driver I removed all the screws holding the back plate on. Being careful not to kink the water line, I used the adjustable wrench to losen the water line feed nut and the nut that goes to the line to the icemaker. Then I removed the screws holding the valve in place finished unhooking the water lines with my fingers. I then got the new valve and finger tightend the main water supply nut to the inlet side, then I pushed the plastic supply tube going to the icemaker into the valve. The new valve does not use a nut to attach the tubing it is a presure fit very easy.

Honestly, so simple . Removed the fruit / veggie drawers, glass shelf and the supports for that shelf. Couple of screws and nuts and it was off. As stated before... the most "thought goes into attaching the linkage for the temp adjustment on the right side . GREAT opportunity to CLEAN the up the fridge a bit!! Parts Select made this such a no brainer. Their Customer Service was really an added bonus!!

I was getting small sections of ice and a snow like build - up around the freezer door. I thought that the door was not sealing tight enough and that the cold air was leaking out. The original door gasket appeared to not have any flexibility anymore and was getting hard. I ordered a new door gasket from PartsSelect. When the gasket arrived it was in a large enough box and that saved me some time as the gasket was not "crushed" to the point where there were a lot of kinks in the gasket. I used a hair dryer on low to warm the gasket and stretch it out some. The freezer door required me loosening four small screws and lifting the door off. I placed the door on an old blanket so not to scratch the finish. It was easy to remove the old gasket and after doing so I cleaned the track where the new gasket was to go with isopropyl alcohol, Once cleaned, I placed the gasket over the channel in the door where the old gasket had been and started installing the new gasket. I started at the corners and you can feel the gasket snap into place. Once the four corners were done I started at the top and installed the gasket the rest of the way. You can feel it snap into place. as you work your way around the gasket channel. Once the gasket was in place I placed the door on the four small grooves where the door had been and tightened up the screws. I made sure that no white from the inside of the freezer door was showing after the gasket was in place and that the gasket had some "spring" to it. The door was back on, the gasket was tight and it appeared to be a good seal. Around 12 hours later I checked the freezer and there was no more ice or "snow" on the edges of the freezer. While the gasket was not inexpensive, it is a genuine OEM piece, and the gasket is a lot cheaper than a new refrigerator!

When I received the gasket I laid it out on the floor in a spare room not too far from a heat register to let it straighten out. (If it were summer or sunny weather here I would have laid it out in the sun.) My adult son did the repair - it was very easy to pull out the old gasket and to gently clean the edges with a scraper to prepare for the new install. He followed instructions and other tips but the first section took a while before it would stay inserted. Once it did though, the rest of the gasket snapped in very quickly. I am happy the seal is much improved.

Took cardboard cover off rear of refrigerator, five screws. Turned water off and unplugged fridge. Took out two screws holding inlet valve, pulled off quick release power wires and changed out water supplies in and out. Rebooked power and replaces cardboard cover. With power and water back on, ice maker was supplied with water.

Very simple--Just remove all drawers, remove old end cap, remove slider from old end cap and put on new one. Screw on new end cap and replace drawers. Took about 10 minutes.
