59666133703 Kenmore Refrigerator - Instructions

Replaced door closer part on hinge. Did not fix problem. Be sure to order mating bushing that goes in the bottom of the door . Part #67004977

Unplug the refrigerator and pull it out so you can work behind it.I had to get a helper to lean the refrigerator forward and let it rest on a towel I placed on the countertop. The tray was underneath the refrigerator near the back so I leaned it forward enough to remove the metal plate that holds the tray in place. I placed a scotch behind the front wheels to keep it from rolling backward off the counter it was resting on. I had to remove the cover from the unit on the lower back side of the refrigerator to see how the tray was moumted. Once you remove the plate you have to slide the fan off the tray and then you can remove the tray. Simply reverse the whole process to install the new tray, upright the refrigerator and plug it back in to the outlet.

Followed the instructions on the website. Removed glass shelf, installed rail and replaced salad crisper bins and glass shelf. Less than 5 minutes!

Removed the storage bins. Removed the whole shelf, remove the glass part.(clean everything while you are at it, which is why it took 15-30 minutes) Lift out old rail and replace it with the new, reinstall shelf and glass. If you choose to not to clean, just take out the glass shelf, replace rail and put it back in. .

The instruction video was so helpful. I watched it before I ordered the part to be sure I was able to make the repair. The replacement part arrived quicker than I expected. Cleaning the shelf & bins was the most time consuming part of the job. The replacement part fit in place perfectly. My fridge is good as new again!

Noted the Damper Assemby in the upper rear of refrig section,was always staying open during checks for problems. Controls appeared to be controlling temp changes when adjusted. Pulled the damper assemby after removing two screws holding the diffuser/cover(diffuser pops off with screwdriver) Damper assembly snaps out , unplug wires, snap new damper assembly in place, reconnect wires at the plug, replace cover with foam insulation, secure with screws replace diffuser snaping in place. Recheck settings for desired temperatures.

Took off the shelf abovethe rail and slid into the receiver in back and front. BTW, cant say enough good about the customer service received from Part Select! They were awesome!

Remove plastic vent cover. Just snaps out. Take out two screws that hold damper cover on. Unclip and unplug damper assembly. Snap in new assembly and plug in. Replace covers. I was pretty sure this would fix my problem after observing the damper for several days. It would stay open and when I moved it by hand it would open a little more and then close. Easy fix!

Removed the two drawers and shelve. Inserted the new crisper rail. Replaced the two drawers and put the shelve back in. Took maybe 10 minutes. Did not need any tools.

I removed the glass on top of the Crisper and replaced the Rail and then replaced the glass. Done

I watch a widea on part select 'how to do that' and was relly very easy to repleace a part. The delivery was next day. They are triting customers very serious and professionals. I'll recomended part select for all my friedds with similar problems. Thank you.

It was so simple! Removed the glass shelf that sits atop the vegetable bins, inserted the center crisper rail, put the glass shelf back on top of it and replaced the vegetable bins. I loved that I didn't have to bother my husband to do it! Very happy at how fast the part came after I ordered it.

remove crisper baskets. Remove glass shelf above baskets. remove broken rail note front and back end of rail. Place new rail with same orientation as old rail. Very easy repair.

I did remove the run capacitor of the starthing kit of compressor and another one new. It work fine.
