Heard a five second buzzing sound repeated 4 or 5 times per cycle coming from rear lower left compressor side.
Removed the six screws holding the bottom access plate found at the rear of the refrigerator. This gives you easy access to the run capacitor that has a retaining clip. Remove the wire clip and pull out the capacitor (it has two quick disconnect terminals). Reverse the process using the new run capacitor to complete the repair.

Fridge section too warm and freezer cold
The unit has two fans on it. One is located in the back and the other is locate inside the freezer section behind the panel. Remove the four bolts holding the door to the sliding rack. Remove the ice machine. Remove the back panel. Noticed that the fan was covered in ice thus shorting the fan motor. Tested for voltage to the fan was good. Replaced evaporator fan motor and unit works perfectly

Refrigerator door not closing automatically.
Replaced door closer part on hinge. Did not fix problem. Be sure to order mating bushing that goes in the bottom of the door . Part #67004977

The Rail broke
Removed the storage bins. Removed the whole shelf, remove the glass part.(clean everything while you are at it, which is why it took 15-30 minutes) Lift out old rail and replace it with the new, reinstall shelf and glass. If you choose to not to clean, just take out the glass shelf, replace rail and put it back in. .

Milk was freezing in Refig section, 28 F temp
Noted the Damper Assemby in the upper rear of refrig section,was always staying open during checks for problems. Controls appeared to be controlling temp changes when adjusted. Pulled the damper assemby after removing two screws holding the diffuser/cover(diffuser pops off with screwdriver) Damper assembly snaps out , unplug wires, snap new damper assembly in place, reconnect wires at the plug, replace cover with foam insulation, secure with screws replace diffuser snaping in place. Recheck settings for desired temperatures.

rail that is the glide for the crisper drawers broke
I was so happy to find that i could order the part online and not have to call a repairman and pay for a service call. The prat shipped in one day! It was very easy to install. Only tip i will give is, make sure you put it in the right direction. If placed in wrong the drawers won't open.

Crisper rail broke
Took off the shelf abovethe rail and slid into the receiver in back and front. BTW, cant say enough good about the customer service received from Part Select! They were awesome!

Food Freezing
Remove plastic vent cover. Just snaps out. Take out two screws that hold damper cover on. Unclip and unplug damper assembly. Snap in new assembly and plug in. Replace covers. I was pretty sure this would fix my problem after observing the damper for several days. It would stay open and when I moved it by hand it would open a little more and then close. Easy fix!

Center Crisper Rail Broke
Removed the two drawers and shelve. Inserted the new crisper rail. Replaced the two drawers and put the shelve back in. Took maybe 10 minutes. Did not need any tools.

Center Crisper Rail
I removed the glass on top of the Crisper and replaced the Rail and then replaced the glass. Done

Brocken Track Crisper

center crisper rail snapped in two
It was so simple! Removed the glass shelf that sits atop the vegetable bins, inserted the center crisper rail, put the glass shelf back on top of it and replaced the vegetable bins. I loved that I didn't have to bother my husband to do it! Very happy at how fast the part came after I ordered it.

center crisper rail broken
remove crisper baskets. Remove glass shelf above baskets. remove broken rail note front and back end of rail. Place new rail with same orientation as old rail. Very easy repair.

Refrigerator stop cooling

the center crisper rail broke
It was easy to find on the site because of the great diagram of my Amana and it was super easy to repair- just had to drop it in place - paid 20 dollars with shipping - Im sure it would have cost me over $100 if I would have called a repair man
