Crisper Centr Rail which holds two Crisper drawers needed to be replaced as drawers were slliding on bottom of refridgerator
Pull out the drawers and removed the old rail, place new rail in and return drawers. Like New and took about 3 minutes.

Center Rail For Crisper Drawers Broke
The rail had broken off, so there was nothing to remove, except the crisper drawers. I had called an amana repair service and the repairman told the part was about $9 and the cost to install was $127. When I almost fainted, he told me I could probably do it myself. Wow, was he right! I ordered the part, it came in about 2 days, I looked at the rail, removed the glass shelf, hooked the rail into the little opening at the back, and bang! All done. It took me 10 seconds!!

Broken rail to hold crisper drawers
The entire process took lees than 5 minutes. I simply removed the broken rail, and inserted the new one. Voila! Like new!

Our center rail that holds our refer drawers broke.
I placed the back of the bracket into the slot in the rear of the refrigerator and stretched the front plastic rim on the glass shelf over the front of the new center rail until it snapped into place (all the while hoping I didn't cause further damage to my refridgerator!) and wa-la, piece of cake! My impatience paid off this time!

you have to turn it off and on to run.
Just like the video showed me.It still does not work. Have to turn it off and on to make it start up.I also replaced thermostat in freezer. Does not work.

crisper rail cracked at rear top.would stay in place
Removed both crispers and shelf . Inserted new rail as explained in video. Replaced everything.

the center crisper rail broke
It was easy to find on the site because of the great diagram of my Amana and it was super easy to repair- just had to drop it in place - paid 20 dollars with shipping - Im sure it would have cost me over $100 if I would have called a repair man

Replace center rail of crisper drawers
Lift the glass shelf up, slip center rail in place, lower shelf. Time 1 minute.It takes more time to remove everything on the shelf than to replace the part.
