I simply watched the repair video and did it! Super easy, needed start device and capacitor. As easy as unplugging the old and adding the new. The video helped and gave me confidence. Wives can fix fridges too! Saved me $2500. Looks like I'll need a new excuse if I want a new fridge.

These plastic storage refrigerator racks can break relatively easily. Fortunately, the replacement of the center crisper rail is very easy. Just remove all the food items from the flat shelf above the crispers. The flat shelf (glass in our model) comes out as well as the crispers. When you remove the shelf and crispers, the center crisper rail is replaced by turning the frame upside down. It fits right in and is secure when you turn the frame upright. Don't try to make this replacement in situ, too many fragile plastic tabs that can possibly break.

Lift the glass shelf up, slip center rail in place, lower shelf. Time 1 minute.It takes more time to remove everything on the shelf than to replace the part.

Took off the shelf abovethe rail and slid into the receiver in back and front. BTW, cant say enough good about the customer service received from Part Select! They were awesome!

This probably occurred due to overloading of the drawer, or trying to close an overstuffed drawer that put vertical torque on the front screw as the drawer was pushed shut by a 10 yr old boy!------------------------------------------(I hate it when these forms won't let you start a new line!) Ordered the part, it came in 3 days later, took longer to unload food from shelf above than to install slide. Used a hand clamp and a second small Phillips bit to align second hole while I installed screw in first hole. Then put in the second screw. total install time (not including washing all shelves since we had one out anyway... thanks honey!) less than 2 minutes.

Removed the two drawers and shelve. Inserted the new crisper rail. Replaced the two drawers and put the shelve back in. Took maybe 10 minutes. Did not need any tools.

I removed the glass on top of the Crisper and replaced the Rail and then replaced the glass. Done

I watch a widea on part select 'how to do that' and was relly very easy to repleace a part. The delivery was next day. They are triting customers very serious and professionals. I'll recomended part select for all my friedds with similar problems. Thank you.

It was so simple! Removed the glass shelf that sits atop the vegetable bins, inserted the center crisper rail, put the glass shelf back on top of it and replaced the vegetable bins. I loved that I didn't have to bother my husband to do it! Very happy at how fast the part came after I ordered it.

remove crisper baskets. Remove glass shelf above baskets. remove broken rail note front and back end of rail. Place new rail with same orientation as old rail. Very easy repair.

I did remove the run capacitor of the starthing kit of compressor and another one new. It work fine.

It was easy to find on the site because of the great diagram of my Amana and it was super easy to repair- just had to drop it in place - paid 20 dollars with shipping - Im sure it would have cost me over $100 if I would have called a repair man
