To clip it in was easy. The hard part was getting down to do it. I'm 78, hubby is 80 and because of the fridge width it took both of us since we have a bottom freezer drawer. We don't get down or even up very well anymore. The part fit fine and looks great. The part arrived in less than 24 hours which pleasantly surprised us. Thanks much.!

At first i thought Maytag had changed the part since I'd bought mine in '08. It didn't look like the part I was replacing. This was confirmed when i talked to the customer service person on the phone. But then I realized that I had to take pieces off the old frame--the front cover strip, the crisper air adjusters and the rigid metal insert--and fit them on to the new frame. Not at all an easy task without snapping the fragile plastic. With time and great care I got the parts off the old frame and on to the new one. Could have used a frame with those parts already installed, or advice that I was going to have to use the parts from the old frame. But never mind, it's installed and it's fine.

Removed back cover. Removed fan with mount which was a little difficult. Installed new pan and parts that were removed. Part came in one day. Great service.

The instruction video was so helpful. I watched it before I ordered the part to be sure I was able to make the repair. The replacement part arrived quicker than I expected. Cleaning the shelf & bins was the most time consuming part of the job. The replacement part fit in place perfectly. My fridge is good as new again!

I had to sit with the old part for about 5 minutes, looking at the different elements of it to understand what was going on and how to disassemble it, so I could add the "old parts" to the new frame. Every old part needed a bit of nudging to come apart; I had to use the hammer to release the metal stabilizing bar from the old frame (a bit nerve-wracking--use the end of the screwdriver as a wedge with the hammer). Once the old frame was completely disassembled, the old parts were fairly easy to reinstall to the new frame. Just take your time, don't get frustrated, and have patience. As all other contributors mentioned, a brief dis-assembly/re-assembly description from the parts manufacturer would have been extremely helpful.

Removed the six screws holding the bottom access plate found at the rear of the refrigerator. This gives you easy access to the run capacitor that has a retaining clip. Remove the wire clip and pull out the capacitor (it has two quick disconnect terminals). Reverse the process using the new run capacitor to complete the repair.

The unit has two fans on it. One is located in the back and the other is locate inside the freezer section behind the panel. Remove the four bolts holding the door to the sliding rack. Remove the ice machine. Remove the back panel. Noticed that the fan was covered in ice thus shorting the fan motor. Tested for voltage to the fan was good. Replaced evaporator fan motor and unit works perfectly

very basic (I repaired appliances for 10 yrs for Sears and my own shop)make sure you apply heat(hair dryer) to have seal in perfect square shape soft etc ,I removed freezer door put plastic tarp to keep cold in, laid door on table for ease of installation replaced gasket put door back on tout fini ps if you want lay on floor go for it at 75 yrs old not for me Newport VT

Followed instructions supplied on Your website. Instuctions were well explained and easy to follow.

Took off the shelf abovethe rail and slid into the receiver in back and front. BTW, cant say enough good about the customer service received from Part Select! They were awesome!

Removed the two drawers and shelve. Inserted the new crisper rail. Replaced the two drawers and put the shelve back in. Took maybe 10 minutes. Did not need any tools.

I removed the glass on top of the Crisper and replaced the Rail and then replaced the glass. Done

First I watched the How To video on the repair process. Then I followed the steps on the video and was finished in no time at all. Very simple! The ordering and delivery of the product was also quick and efficient.

I did it exactly how the video that was shown when I purchased the new rail. Following those instructions worked perfectly.

Removed the storage bins. Removed the whole shelf, remove the glass part.(clean everything while you are at it, which is why it took 15-30 minutes) Lift out old rail and replace it with the new, reinstall shelf and glass. If you choose to not to clean, just take out the glass shelf, replace rail and put it back in. .
