Milk was freezing in Refig section, 28 F temp
Noted the Damper Assemby in the upper rear of refrig section,was always staying open during checks for problems. Controls appeared to be controlling temp changes when adjusted. Pulled the damper assemby after removing two screws holding the diffuser/cover(diffuser pops off with screwdriver) Damper assembly snaps out , unplug wires, snap new damper assembly in place, reconnect wires at the plug, replace cover with foam insulation, secure with screws replace diffuser snaping in place. Recheck settings for desired temperatures.

Broken Crisper Rail
Clean off the glass shelf, remove drawers and shelf, pop in replacement rail, put everything back in fridge. Replacing the part is the easy part, what I would like to know is why this is the second one I have had to buy this year. There must be a problem with the replacement parts that they break so easily. This time, I bought 2, so that i have a spare - fortunately, the price is reasonable.

Center crisper rail broke, so repaired it.
Removed the drawers and shelf with glass t.op and center rail, installed new one (popped out and popped new one in). Took all of 5 minutes. Easy to order on line. Should use usps for shipping it is cheaper.

center crisper rail snapped in two
It was so simple! Removed the glass shelf that sits atop the vegetable bins, inserted the center crisper rail, put the glass shelf back on top of it and replaced the vegetable bins. I loved that I didn't have to bother my husband to do it! Very happy at how fast the part came after I ordered it.

center crisper rail broken
remove crisper baskets. Remove glass shelf above baskets. remove broken rail note front and back end of rail. Place new rail with same orientation as old rail. Very easy repair.

the center crisper rail broke
It was easy to find on the site because of the great diagram of my Amana and it was super easy to repair- just had to drop it in place - paid 20 dollars with shipping - Im sure it would have cost me over $100 if I would have called a repair man

Replace center rail of crisper drawers
Lift the glass shelf up, slip center rail in place, lower shelf. Time 1 minute.It takes more time to remove everything on the shelf than to replace the part.

We had a broken center crisper rail in our Maytag Refrigerator
Followed the instructions on the website. Removed glass shelf, installed rail and replaced salad crisper bins and glass shelf. Less than 5 minutes!

Popped the cover to expose the part. Then removed two screws and unplugged the part. Exchanged the new part for the old. Plugged the new part in and replaced the screws And the cover.
