Removed drawers, lifted glass shelf, installed new part

I simply removed the drawers and replaced the assembly. I didn't even need tools!
The part arrived so quickly and it was easy to find. I will definitely use part select again!

The entire process took lees than 5 minutes. I simply removed the broken rail, and inserted the new one. Voila! Like new!

Finding the part that I needed was incredibly easy. I usually leave all repairs to my husband but I was getting frustrated that my vegetables were freezing due to the drawer laying right on the wall dividing the freezer area. I took it upon myself to search for parts by using the refrigerator model number, This site is the BEST!! By providing pictures of the parts and where they go I was able to order the correct one. It arrived within a few days and I installed it in less than 5 minutes. I was relieved that I had ordered the correct part and my husband was pleasantly surprised that I took care of it myself. Although there where no instructions, reading the comments by others made this a really easy replacement.

Just like the video showed me.It still does not work. Have to turn it off and on to make it start up.I also replaced thermostat in freezer. Does not work.

Snapped old one off, snapped new one on

Removed the glass shelf, position the rail in its slots and replaced the glass shelves.

Removed both crispers and shelf . Inserted new rail as explained in video. Replaced everything.

Followed easy instruction video. It was like new in fifteen minutes.

Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

Dropped down the front control panel were you program the the tempertures when you open the doors. This just pops down from the front. Then change out the printed cicuit broad two wires all done.

Unplug the refrigerator and pull it out so you can work behind it.I had to get a helper to lean the refrigerator forward and let it rest on a towel I placed on the countertop. The tray was underneath the refrigerator near the back so I leaned it forward enough to remove the metal plate that holds the tray in place. I placed a scotch behind the front wheels to keep it from rolling backward off the counter it was resting on. I had to remove the cover from the unit on the lower back side of the refrigerator to see how the tray was moumted. Once you remove the plate you have to slide the fan off the tray and then you can remove the tray. Simply reverse the whole process to install the new tray, upright the refrigerator and plug it back in to the outlet.

This is the 2nd Jazz board that we replaced in 2 years. We believe that a power surge caused the board to no longer work. We now have the fridge plugged into a surge protector. The instruction sheet to program the jazz board did NOT come with this part. I called Parts Select and they gave me a number for Whirlpool. I spent over 30 mins. talking to Whirlpool, 2 different departments, and they do not have instructions for this part. I was told that they only supply instructions for about 10% of the parts that they distribute. I was able to find the instruction sheet on my own but searching "whirlpool instruction 16022940."
