The wire plugs on the replacement part were in different orientations and the tubing connections were push-in versus the original threaded compression type. The repair kit did come with numerous additional tubes and brackets, but there were no instructions for their use. The slots on what looked like a mounting bracket adapter were not on the same centers as my original mount so I could only use one of the mounting holes - which should be OK since it is not under a lot of load after installation. I cut 3/4" off each of the outlet hoses to get a fresh, round hose end and installed the appropriate metal hose supports in the hose ends before shoving them into the push-in fittings. The size differences in the small, sheet metal internal hose supports are subtle, so be sure to double check them before installation. Be sure to press the hoses in fully or you will have a mess on your hands when you turn on the water (ask me how I know). I had to do some small re-routing of the wires to connect to the new wire connector locations (the wires were long enough). The inlet water connection was the same as original (screw on compression). I had no issues with that. After installation I actuated door water several times to make sure the press-in fittings would not work loose. I also monitored ice machine to make sure no leaks after several actuations. The differences in the original and replacement part were a little intimidating at first, but it can be made to work. 4 weeks so far and no issues, Very happy that a replacement part was available for my 21 year old fridge.

Unplug fridge, unpluged fan motor from plug socket, removed bracket screws, removed fan retainer clip from shaft. removed screws holding fan to bracket

Very easy. Left the front of the refrigerator so it is approx. 4 inches of the floor. (used a two by four. Removed the screws (one for each roller). Removed the rollers and replaced with new rollers. Reinstalled the screws with secures the rollers to the refrigerator. Done

Reviewed Youtube video as a reference. Unplugged refrigerator. Removed old defrost timer. Matched the color of the wiring harness to the diagram that came with the part. Attach new part to wiring harness.

When we got the part, we read the instructions, which were easy and very clear step by step. Taking the old part off took most of the time, it was attached a little differently than was described in the video and the instructions for the part. Once we detached that, the replacement part went in very easily and quickly. It took a short while for the cycle to start, we were actually a little worried that it wasn't going to work. Then it started cycling. After the first day the freezer had started icing up, we took a blow dryer and melted it and waited. It hasn't started freezing up again. The refrigerator is keeping the proper temperature and the freezer is also working properly, it's been a week. We seem to be obsessed with going out and checking to see if it's working but I think it's a success. Doing this ourselves only cost $26.00. A huge savings if we had hired someone else to repair it for us. We will definitely choose this option with any other appliance that needs repair. It was easy and simple to find the correct part thanks to the website. And the video tutorial was very informative and helpful.

The instruction sheet supplied with the new motor described the steps to take very good. Replaced the rubber grommets for the three motor mounts also. A flashlight or light source was needed or was very helpful.

I tipped the refrigerator back and my friend used an adjustable wrench to attach put the new wheel assembies on. I also used a socket wrench to get the old attacheement bolts to thread. I rolled the cleaned appliance in place and adjusted the wheels with the socket set for easy door closing. It went smoothly.

bulbs were not burnt out. received the new switch in a few days. watch the short video, was good to see how it comes out. used a putty knife to release the defective switch, removed wires put them on the new one and posed the new switch back in. Not bad Part cost $11.00 7 dollars shipping so for 17 bucks it works great. nice to see what is inside the refer!

Eased the putty knife under the edge of the switch housing and pried it off. Pulled two wires off the old terminals and hooked them onto the new one and reinstalled into the refrigerator body.

We looked up the problem online with the model number of the refrigerator. We ordered the part and followed the video installation that was sent with the order and was found online prior to purchasing

Pull refrigerator out to access back, unplug unit and remove the 3 .25" screws cut the power leads to motor and install new with easy to understand instructions provided with new motor. Plug refrigerator back in and enjoy your cold beverages once more. EASIEST REPAIR EVER.

Ordered new fan motor on line took out old motor and replaced with new one
