replace broken shelf bins
found all three bins broken badly after refrig was in our rental property for 4 years, needed to have a simple online solution where i could order and have delivered easily with my atm card, and this was the only site to provide that, thank you much for doing it the way it can be done in the future(which is now!) very, very satisfied...

door was making a poping sound upon opening and closing
First I removed all contents from inside refrigerator door.Then I removed (1) 10mil screw,which holds cover for top hinge.Next I removed the (3) hinge screws,and lifted door off of bottom hinge.Pulled off plastic closure cam from bottom metal hinge post.I cleaned metal post ,applied a small amount of vaseline to post, slid on new plastic cam,installed door, replaced screws.Very easy,10 to 15 min tops.

no refrigeration to freezer or refrigerator
Whirlpool refrigerator laid down on us on a Friday morning. Local repair center would not be out until Monday noon. $89 service charge plus labor and parts estimate. Golly Miss Molly! Diagnosed problem through PartSelect forum and ordered the part at 2:50pm that day[Fri]. New compressor part arrived at 2pm the next day [Sat].INCREDIBLE delivery time!Up and running 10 minutes later. Thanks PartSelect. My faith in Corporate America{gosh,maybe even mankind] has been restored.

socket melted with bulb in it.
plastic warped in ,spaced out and, the socket snapped back in place.

There was no light on in refrig area
Just replaced the switch, but unfortunately that was not the problem; nor was it the bulb....so I am back to square one.

THERMOSTAT
I followed your instructions , the only thing that was left out was that the freezer has a drain hole that had to be thawed out with a hair dryer,till the water went to the drain pan underneath the ref. your instruction were through enough, that's why I purchased the part from your company, I installed the part 2 days ago and its working like new again 23.00 for the part instead of 1200.00 dollars for another ref. thanks very much. 6 months ago I purchased the relay and compressor starter from your company at that time per your instructions I shook the compressor starter and like a light bulb it had something broke inside,I needed that thanks again oomk

the door bins failed rather quicklyAn unknown white substance was observed down the side of the door at the juncture of the bin and the edge of the door/hinge side
we removed the old broken bins and replaced with new door bins

My drawer had been broken and I needed a new one.
When I took the pan out of the box, it was not the exact same as the one I had. But it fit perfect. The only hard part was the fact that it looked so good I had to clean the entire fridge side. (Smile)

The shelf runner broke
Took out the old one and put in the new one. No tolls required. It did give me the opportunity to clean the back wall of the refrigerator.

Refridgerator do not get cold
Disconnect the power, removed the back panel, plastic cover and the relays. Replaced new parts, reattached the back panel and reconnected the power. The hardest part was to remove the plastic cover, it was locked on so tight,I had to use a putty knife to separate the cover from the compressor.

Refrigerator wouldn't kick on unless we tapped the thermostat knob and then the freezer would frost up because it wouldn't kick off
Unplugged the refrigerator and then removed the knobs and face plate inside, by removing the screws. I then removed the screws holding the thermostat and unplugged the Thermostat assembly, and replaced it with the new one, then removed the defrost timer and replaced with the new one. I then replaced the screws and the face plate, then the knobs. I plugged the refrigerator and it kicked on right away. Within a half hour we had it running and at the right temperature. It was so easy I think my wife could have done it!

Motor intermittently not working.. Warm Frig.
Very easy. Take panel off and replace motor.. All wires matched fine. Easiest applance repair I've done..

Contact in thermostat assembly was burned up, making the freezer irregular and the ice would melt, then freeze into a ball!
I took off the front cover with the controls. Pulled out the control knobs, unbolted the assembly (which was identical to my replacement part) and proceded to follow the old thermostat tube to the back of the fridge. The tube should be carefully removed, not pulled on, there's a couple of screws holding it in towards the back. I installed the new part in reverse of how I took out the original part. I'm very happy with how the fridge has come back to life! It was much cheaper to fix it than to replace.
