Working from inside out . Remove left upper tube cover and then vent cover . Remove thermostat tube from around the vent . Remove knobs and front cover . Remove 4 hex screws , drop the whole unit enough to expose the left control rod , remove the rod retaining clip . Gently separate control rod from unit . Take the whole unit to working bench or table . Remove thermostat and bracket . Need to reuse bracket with new thermostat . Don't forget the clear plastic tube you have to reuse that as well . Be careful not to kink the thermostat tube . Reverse procedure , working from outside in . Good luck

Unplugged the refrigerator then removed two vertical screws on the very back back of the control panel (the ones with the washers). Do not remove the four other vertical screws in the panel. The front plastic plate on control panel snaps off and there are two horizontal screws under the plate. Remove them and the control panel will drop down allowing access to the light switch. Unplug the two wires (one black and one white) from the old switch. Discard the old switch, snap the new one into place and reconnect the two wires. Snap the front plastic plate back into place, plug in the refrigerator and you are done! Problem solved with a new $16.00 switch and saved at least $75.00 or more from an appliance repair call. Removed the six screws holding the bottom access plate found at the rear of the refrigerator. This gives you easy access to the run capacitor that has a retaining clip. Remove the wire clip and pull out the capacitor (it has two quick disconnect terminals). Reverse the process using the new run capacitor to complete the repair.

Exactly how the instructional video described it to be. No surprises what so ever. Ended up not being the culprit to my problem. Ordered and installed a bi-metal defrost timer. Also, extremely easy as the instructional video described it to be. Partselect is an awesome resource for knowledge and quality products with very reasonable prices.

Just replaced the thermostat and is working perfectly. I would have to tap cooler knob and it would kick on. when it ran it ran well. So i knew it had to be electrical.Put in new thermostat and is working great!

I followed the video instructions, which were wonderful! Thank you for that. I removed the shelves, then turned each stud counterclockwise a quarter of a turn and worked them out. I would have been able to finish in 15 min. Or less, but one of the studs crumbled, leaving only the wire; so I grabbed the wire with the pliers and was able to work the old stud out after several minutes. I placed the new studs into the holes and turned them clockwise until they snapped in place. What a quick and easy fix!

After watching the convenient movie, the replacment of the Thermostat was very simple and easy. i woul strongly advise you to take a picture of the wires before disconecting so, you will be sure to to reconetc it again.The replacment was a success and the refrigerator has been working since them

Fridge would stop cooling, get way over temperature. I noticed it would start up again if I tapped near the thermostat. It would run for a while then stop again. Replaced the thermostat exactly as shown in video. Fridge works fine now.

I basically followed the step-by-step instructions at the parts order website. I removed the shelves and rear panels to access the fan. I noted the color coding on the wires and terminals, removed the two retainer screws, removed the old fan from the mounting bracket, installed the new fan using the rubber anti-vibration mounts, pressed-on the fan to the center drive shaft and re-installed the assembly to the back wall. I simply replaced the rear panels and shelves and plugged in the fridge. The only issue I had was the distance needed to press on the fan blade to preclude fan noise, which I found by trial and error, before re-installing the panels.

the speed of part delivery was amazing. using the instructions, posted on your web site, the installation was quite easy. without the instructions it would have taken much longer. thanks to all.

Grasped the base of the old part with pliers and turned a quarter turn until metal stays released and part could be pulled out (two online help videos: one says 1/4 turn clockwise, the other, 1/4 turn counter-clockwise, or, 1/4 in right direction, 3/4 in wrong direction). New part slipped in easily and snapped into place with 1/4 turn. Difficulty getting tray to seat fully until I whacked it with my open hand and it then snapped into place. Remains to be seen if it will be difficult now to remove.
