JFI2089AEP14 Jenn-Air Refrigerator - Instructions

This grille just snapped into place without the use of tools. Couldn't have been easier. And the delivery was super fast; I ordered online one day and the item arrived the very next day.

It was very easy. I removed the two crisper drawers and the glass shelf above the pantry section. I removed two bolts with a nut driver and one screw from the slide track. I pulled out the broken piece and did that all in reverse. Took 5 mins tops.

Also I wanted to say I got my replacement part in two days with standard shipping.

Extremely simple to replace the entire cover. Just had to press on the sides to remove the cover from the hinge pins, then reinstall.

1. Remove the crisper drawers from the refrigerator.
2. Remove the shelf from the refrigerator (a good opportunity to do some deep cleaning in the far reaches of the fridge ;).
3. With the shelf sitting securely on a flat surface, remove the old trim by using your fingertips to grab the underside of the trim and gently pull it away from the edge of the glass shelf. Work from one end of the trim to the other until the old trim pops off.
4. To attach the new shelf trim, push the trim gently onto the rounded edge of the shelf. Work from one end to the other until the trim snaps into place.

took me less than 5min. to replace inlet valve.
an cleaned my frig at the same time that took me longer to do.

took out old lid, took out drawers above this drawer to make it easier to work on. installed new drawer simple by hand with no tools. put other drawers back. very simple no tools needed.

Easy repair, nothing complicated.

after pulling the draw out. had to remove 3 screws on the left side, pull out one part, and then replaced the broken pin. put everything back in place and it was done.perfect job.saved alot of money. thanks to part-select

Two phillips head screws out to remove drawer slide. Three screws to remove right side drawer support. New support placed, new lid snapped into place. The right side has an adjustment lever. Re-routing that took the longest. The arm had to be removed and twisted to get the adjustment knob off and on.

I removed the drawers above and the glass shelf, then removedthe screws to remove the broken end cap then reversed the proceedure to install the new part. Was simple to do and it works fine.

Open the existing cover and carefully with the thumb and index fingers, pry the cover at over the left pin and remove the cover. Place the replacement onto the right pin and pry the left placing it over the left and you are done.

I removed the Deli Drawersvegatable and fruit drawers. Removed the glass panel. Removed the screws holding the Endcap and snapped the old one out. A back panel strip that controls the humidity snapped out. I installed the back panel to the new endcap. Installed the new endcap snapping it in place and used the screws to keep it in place.
It was not difficult and everything fit perfectly. The only thing it takes is a little understanding as to how it all fits together. It took about 20 minutes.

stick the very small screw driver in the hole on the left side cover and lift up to release the keeper tab,pull out to expose the wire connecter.insert the small screw driver in the slot on the left side to release the tab while pulling apart the two connectors.tuck the wires tight to side and pull out the ice maker.I thought I was getting the whole ice maker assembly,but just got a part of it,so I had take it apart and put it back together.the hardest thing to change over was the stop lever arm that senses the level of ice in the bin.after all this,it didn't work at all.not happy around here.back to filling ice trays
