JFI2089WES4 Jenn-Air Refrigerator - Instructions

The old plactic ring can be removed with flat bladed screw driver, starting on the right side prying it up worked best for me. The new seal snaps in only one way take your time to get it wright.

took out old lid, took out drawers above this drawer to make it easier to work on. installed new drawer simple by hand with no tools. put other drawers back. very simple no tools needed.

1. Remove the crisper drawers from the refrigerator.
2. Remove the shelf from the refrigerator (a good opportunity to do some deep cleaning in the far reaches of the fridge ;).
3. With the shelf sitting securely on a flat surface, remove the old trim by using your fingertips to grab the underside of the trim and gently pull it away from the edge of the glass shelf. Work from one end of the trim to the other until the old trim pops off.
4. To attach the new shelf trim, push the trim gently onto the rounded edge of the shelf. Work from one end to the other until the trim snaps into place.

Originally I took the module off and found that a small plastic part had broken. Both pieces were still there, so I super glued them together and reassembled the unit. It worked great for a couple months. I realized it needed a more permanent fix, so I found the model # and looked up the part. That was very easy on your website. I ordered the part expecting it to take 4-7 days. It was at my house in two days! 15 minutes later I was makin' ice, and makin' my wife happy. Thank you for an all around great experience. Extremely simple to replace the entire cover. Just had to press on the sides to remove the cover from the hinge pins, then reinstall.

Easy repair, nothing complicated.

Open the existing cover and carefully with the thumb and index fingers, pry the cover at over the left pin and remove the cover. Place the replacement onto the right pin and pry the left placing it over the left and you are done.

I removed the drawers above and the glass shelf, then removedthe screws to remove the broken end cap then reversed the proceedure to install the new part. Was simple to do and it works fine.

Two phillips head screws out to remove drawer slide. Three screws to remove right side drawer support. New support placed, new lid snapped into place. The right side has an adjustment lever. Re-routing that took the longest. The arm had to be removed and twisted to get the adjustment knob off and on.

I removed the Deli Drawersvegatable and fruit drawers. Removed the glass panel. Removed the screws holding the Endcap and snapped the old one out. A back panel strip that controls the humidity snapped out. I installed the back panel to the new endcap. Installed the new endcap snapping it in place and used the screws to keep it in place.
It was not difficult and everything fit perfectly. The only thing it takes is a little understanding as to how it all fits together. It took about 20 minutes.

Thanks to others who shared their story, I was prepared to "muscle" the front cover off the old crisper and snap it into place on the new crisper -- warning if you are good with puzzles and mechanics, this repair is a "snap"; Pantry Lid is very easy, push pin on left side, slide old lid out and push new lid in.

The broken one just popped out and the new one popped right in! This company shipped out the part I needed immediately I had it in two days!! I highly recommend them!!
