Replaced two refrigerator door seals and freezer door seal
Laid the three seals in the sun for an hour and then took and stuck each seal, one at a time, to the door of an adjacent freezer and used the hot air gun to straighten the seals which were bent due to the packaging.

The referigerator is warm, but the freezer is cold.
I noticed the coils very dusty dirty, tried brushing it clean, ended up blowing it clean. I noticed the condenser fan motor was never turning, I had power, so I ordered a new one. I actual received the evaporator motor, so I had to order the correct one. After changing it, and it started blowing right away. But my refrigerator is still warm. I do not know where the evaporator blower motor is located. I cannot make out from the diagram breakdown. HELP

Ice maker nonfunctioning likely do to my screwup…I turned the water off, emptied the ice, and then forgot to turn the ice maker off. I was away for 10 days.
I’ve replaced one Whirlpool ice maker in the past (about 15 years ago). It was a similar unit.
I looked at several videos about testing the ice maker, testing the water valve, and removing roll out shelves and freezer door ( the ice maker is in the bottom freezer unit. Getting down on the floor to remove the unit is the hardest part (69 years old/280 pounds).

I unplugged the refrigerator and turned off the water supply. I removed the two front screws on each side that secure the top roll out shelf. This allows the shelf to be freed from the brackets. I then released the clips holding the two rear rollers. The shelf slid right out.

I then loosened the four screws holding the freezer door to it’s mounting brackets. The door lifted right off.

I then was able to easily reach the ice maker mounting screws with a 1/4 inch nut driver…I used an additional three inch extension. I Loosened the top two screws and removed the bottom screw entirely. The unit was lifted off the freezer wall. The wiring harness has a quick connection that releases in order to disconnect. I separated this modular connection.

I plugged the replacement wiring harness into the harness in the freezer unit. I then reversed all steps. After plugging the refrigerator in, I shunted the two contacts (shown in video)on the ice maker to make sure the water valve was still working. Water flowed into the ice maker. Finished. Started producing ice in about six hours.

A younger, more limber person may be able to complete the replacement without removing the shelving and door.

My ice make quit working
I called my nephew and begged him to come install the new ice maker. It came will everything needed. I cleaned the freezer out and washed everything down and that took longer than Jonathan replacing the ice maker. Super easy. I had him watch the repair video and it took him about 15 minutes.

Light in my refrigerator didn't work.
At first I went to a local part supplier and they didn't have it in stock but could order it for me for $55.00 plus $10.00 to ship it. I told them I would have to think about it. I went home and got on the computer and found your web site and was I shocked when I saw the same part listed for $6.98 and $7.00 to ship it. You guys saved me $50.00. The part arrived in two day and took 5 min. to install. I now have light in my refrigerator. Thank you.

light staying on
A very cold and brittle switch in a 17 year old fridge. Used screwdrivers to pry out with some resistance Had to cut the molded plug in half and split wires, because replacement contacts were farther apart than the original. End result, works great.
