Door Cam And Cam On Refridgerator Were Damaged
I did not realize I needed 2 cams to complete repair. Door cam was riveted in. I had to drill out rivet and replace with nut and bolt. Otherwise it went quite sommothly. At first I just replaced the cam on bottom of refridgerator but door was not quite right when closing. Further inspection showed the door had the other half of cam that also needed replacement. Needed 2 orders. Paid for 2 shippings.

Broken Drawer Slide
Removed the two existing screws and removed the broken drawer slide. Screwed the new, exact duplicate back into place. Less than five minutes to eliminate the six months of hassle I've put up with having the broken slide. So easy I'm embassed to even brag about fixing something.

The rail on which the crisper drawer slides cracked and broke. Drawer wouldn't slide in correctly.
Looked at the broken part. Thought, "Oh darn. I don't want to pay a repairman to do that simple thing. I wonder if I can get a part on the internet?" Looked and found your site. It was easy to use. It told me everything I needed to do, even where to find the model number. Simple! I easily found the part number on your site and ordered. Part came a couple of days later. I undid the old screws---2 of them. Cleaned the area behind the old rail. Screwed in the new rail with the same 2 screws, and voilà, all fixed.

Door closing cam (made of Plastic) just wore out with age and broke in half
Took the door contents out and put them on the counter, took the door off the hinges by unscrewing the 2 screws on the top of the Fridge and lifting the door off the hinge onthe bottom. Then laid down the Fridge on the kitchen floor and replaced the Door Closing Cam, keeping in mind the order of the 3 shims and other things on the bottom of the door. Simple.

Door Closing Cam broke
The bottom of the door was 5 " off the floor. A 2x4 block and a 4x4 block were pushed under the door and supported it while the water line was disconnected the hinge removed and the cam replaced. It was a simple fix and reading other people's experience made the repair so much easier.

Looked at the broken part in the manual and order the new piece. When the new piece arrived, I just removed the old one and installed the new one. Very easy to do.

The right slide rail for the bottom fruit drawer broke.
Simply unscrewed the broken slide rail and reinstalled the new one. I called a local appliance repair and they never followed through on my request for help so I ordered the part through PartSelect. It was quick and easy. I got the correct part within a week.

Problem closing door, would not shut easily.
My wife and I gave an old, but really good refergerator to our son (a Major in the Army). Upon taking it into his house he had to remove the doors of the refergerator. While he put the doors he lost the "cam" for the door, making if difficult to close (actually had to lift the door up and then close it). I ordered the replacement part, and unless I am mistaken, it arrived the same day. I still cannot figure out how this happened, but it was great!!

Replaced both upper and lower cam's. Removed door from refrigerator, removed bolts on door cam on bottom of main door and replaced cam, then removed bolts from door hinge assembly, drilled out rivet holding on cam, replaced with new cam and re-riveted.

Refrigerator door would not close by itself - would stay open when you thought it was closed
1st: Order (2) closing cams! One for the hinge pin / bracket and one for the bottom of the door.
The closing cam on the door was where the Dremel type tool is required, since you have to grind the head off of a factory rivet.
I installed the cam with an aluminum pop rivet.
Next, remove the bracket on the bottom of the door with sockets and install the second closing cam.
Re-attach the top door hinge pin and align visually; tighen all bolts. Job finished, but more important , my wife is not nagging me about the repair that I put off for over a year!!!!

Door would not stay open
Removed the top cover using a Phillips screw driver to access the top 2 screws holding the bracket. Once the bracket was removed, lifted the door off the bottom hinge. Replaced the door closing cam, replaced shims and screws. Placed the door back on the bottom hinge, inserted the top bracket and secured.
This was the ultimate resolution to the problem. The problem I encountered was getting all of the correct parts. It took me 3 tries to finally identify and receive the parts needed to make the repairs. Using Part Select made it easy because they had the parts I needed. My 3 tries were partly my error and does not reflect on Part Select. I would recommend others use Part Select when choosing their replacement parts.
