Ice dispenser had a transistor failure on the control board
The solenoid in the dispenser was overheated due to the control board failure. After I rerplaced the board I found the heat had distorted the plastic crank and jammed the solenoid action. The plastic crank was easy to replace. Now after expending approx. $75 everything works normally!

pinhole leak in water resevoir
pulled fridge away from wall, shut water to fridge disconnected both lines,back one and front one.Removed old water resevoir 1 screw. cut old lines at resevoir. used small threaded rod (1"long)to connect old lines to new lines and taped together,pulled new lines with old lines and reconnected.No lifting of fridge,actual repair under 1 Hour but took longer because I cleaned underneath really well and took my time.

Frost in ice dispensor
Had to take front panel off dispenser area. Then remove components and install new part. That was easy part. Problem was getting components back into front of freezer. Seemed like something was blocking it from going all the way in. Had to remove small amount of insulation and "jiggle" components and eventually fell into place.

The ice auger was rusting getting rust on the ice cubes. This also hindered the auger from working properly.
I removed the ice container with the auger inside. I removed the front panel, then the auger and housing. I had to clean all of the parts that had rust on them. I got some of the parts mixed up and was having a hard time putting them back where they belonged. I went back on the PartSelect web site and with my IPad and opened the exploded view of the parts. This enabled me to put the auger back together. It works perfectly now. Saved a lot of money by doing it myself. Thanks PartSelect.

Refrigerator COnstant running and low ice output
I followed the instructions on the youtube video on the company web page. I removed the cover by hand, removed the exisitng flapper door and install the new door, easy as pie.

pan right edge is broken
Pull out old pan,remove the vent cover from front and install it on the new pan, done.

Inside freeze was frosting up
used a flat screwdriver to pop off out side cover then remove 6 screws took off plate. Pulled off the flapper and replaced. less the 15 mins and fixed the issue

Broken Freezer Light Shield
Remove ice maker bucket. Unscrew single screw in center of shield, take out shield. Insert new shield, making sure the 2 tabs on the shield are slid into mount from the left, center the shield so center tab is aligned with screw hole, Tighten screw, replace ice bucket. SUGGESTION: This would be a good time to replace light bulb!

slow leak from water valve due
It was very easy; I removed the defective valve by detaching the hoses and replaced with new valve and reattached hoses, no mechanical skill required. I ordered the replacement valve from PartSelect.com on Monday by regular delivery and it arrived on Tuesday. By comparison, I called a couple of local appliance stores and they told me it would take 3 - 5 days to get the part in, and would cost twice as much.

Flapper became warped. Freezer /icemaker frosting up... ice melting and sticking.
Popped off the front frame and front of mother board. unscrewed the assembly to be able to lift up to get to flapper. Lifted it up out of the the way ( wires are attached so it may take one other person to hold it up out of the way). Pop out the old flapper and replace with new one. Easy !

flapper was locking open periodically.
Replaced flapper, which was in surprisingly good condition. Major part of repair was removing a lot of mold incurred from long term seepage of room air into the ice channel. In the process of the repair, I discovered that the solenoid to the right of the flapper was hanging up badly. I removed it and cleaned both the plunger and the interior cone of the solenoid with alcohol. This removed quite a bit of rust and some mold. Reinstalled solenoid, replaced flapper and it works just fine. May need to replace solenoid if problem recurs. Certainly worth $37.00!

Ice maker- wouldn't release cubes only crushed ice.
Really easy- turned off ice maker, powered down appliance briefly. Removed ice maker by removing 3 screws with 1/4 nut driver. Unplugged ice maker from power supply. Removed and replaced solenoid arm assembly. Reversed steps and whammy - ice cubes dropped.

We had ice crystals on the ice tray and door
Removed the ice maker control panel and accessed the flapper door, easy switch out for new door and seal. The 2 year old warped seal didn't close and so ice crystals formed in the freezer - new unwarped part and Ta-Da no more problems :)
