The glass cover for our vegetable pan broke.
So we ordered a replacement "PS2577898 GLASS COVER Vegetable PAN" and they sent us the wrong part. It sort of fits over the vegetable drawers, but our GE Fridge model has curved sides and these guys sent us a glass cover that is a perfect rectangle, which sticks out above the grooves where it's supposed to go. After a month of waiting, though, we just didn't care anymore and decided to use the part that arrived. Asking for the correct replacement may take us into 2021...

Slow water flow from water dispenser.
Took out the MFW filter.
Screwed in the MFW bypass.
Dispensed several gallons of water.
Saw good flow of water.
Removed MFW bypass.
Replaced MFW filter.
Our water flow was back to normal.
Screwed in the MFW bypass.

Scheduled replacement
Turned the old filter loose, removed the adapter from it, put the adapter on the new filter and turned the new filter back into place.

Water flow from in-door dispenser was a trickle
We didn't think the dispenser problem was related to the filter - we were wrong! It took less than two minutes, including opening the box and unwrapping the filter. I'll definitely be changing my filter more often - and buying it through PartSelect. Your ordering was so easy and delivery was unbelievably fast!

Broke the fan blade when replacing the Evaporator motor

The door activated light switch was missing.
Pulled the two wires out from the access hole in the lower part of the refrigerator. Put them in the spade connectors on the new switch, and pushed the switch into place.

socket had melted
pluged the wire harness into the new socket from the back and snaped the socket in place.

There is no problem since it is time to change filter.
Just turn the cartilage out and put the new one. Very simple

Light burnt out.
Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

Bad switch for door prevented interior light from coming on
Just as your video described, although due to the age of the fridge, it took a bit longer to remove the defective switch. Your video made this so simple, I can't imagine why we lived with a dark fridge for so long! I was ready to buy a whole new fridge, as repairmen are often nonexistent for small repairs. I am the biggest fan of your company & it's repair video. THANK YOU SO MUCH
