My need for a part wasn't about an appliance repair, it was about making my GE frig work better for my particular needs. There is a lot of wasted space in the 2 door (French door?) model, at least for me anyway, and so when I discovered your company, online, just by googling, I jumped at the opportunity to buy an extra shelf to use the space more effectively. I was surprised. Package came quickly and installing it took a mere minute. I should have done this years ago! I am one happy camper. Excellent service, excellent quality shelf. 1- youtubed the potential diagnoses, 2- resourced and ordered parts, 3- removed old socket, installed new one :-)... My fridge is an older fridge and could've used a screwdriver for eyeglasses. Plug and play easy... YAY!

I lifted the dairy bin up and out. From the top, I inserted the right peg of the new dairy door in place, then gently pushed out on the left side of the bin and down on the left side of the door until the left peg of the door popped into place. Put the repaired dairy bin back at the top of the refrigerator door and pushed it down into place.

I ordered the part, within two days we had received it. My husband put the part in and I really don't know what he used doing so. All I know is that the light works now and we don't have to use the flashlight. Thanks a lot.

I unplugged the refrigerator. Pressed the tab near the light bulb. Unplugged the socket and reconnected it.

Simply unscrewed four screws, discarded the old part and replaced the new with the four screws. Very easy and quick.

Removed screws on broken mullion at top and bottom. Save screws; you’ll need them. Disposed of broken mullion panel. The wires from plug had severed and were dangling at the bottom. Removed the plug inside small opening at bottom of door using needle nose pliers . Held new mullion up to left door, lining up screw holes at top. Screwed in top screw first. Pulled female part of plug out of small opening; removed male plug. Inserted new plug located on mullion in and pushed plug back into small opening. Installed one screw at bottom. The second screw at bottom wouldn’t line up so didn’t use. Installed second screw at top. The new mullion panel functions perfectly, seals well, and works great!

I followed your video and completely dismantled the refrigerator evaporator motor, fan, brackets, and grommet, I completely cleaned the refrigerator including the cooling coils. I then ordered the evaporator motor ,fan, grommets, lid bumper, and brackets. The order would take a week to arrive. In the meantime I cleaned and reassembled all the old parts, waiting for the new ones to come. Guess what! The refrigerator was quiet as a mouse. I really did not need the new parts, but I kept them anyway just for good luck. Not bad for a refrigerator that's twenty four years old.

Un Plugged the frig. Unlocked the socket by pressing down on the latch. Pulled the socket out ensuring I had enough slack. Unplugged the old socket installed the new. Plugged the frig back in. Tested the switch . Very easy-to-use.

New drawer fit perfectly

pluged the wire harness into the new socket from the back and snaped the socket in place.

Frig parts had been scavenged in an apartment complex. Restoring socket was only a matter of plugging in two spade contacts and clipping in socket.

First I flipped breaker to off position for refigerator, Pulled down on socket and broke it free. Then took needle nose piars to pull wire and plug out from hole, so I could conect to new light socket then snaped it in place . Hardest part was getting wire and plug out of hole.

Pulled out old socket.pushed in new one.

The replacement drawers went in very easily and we are so pleased.
