Gaskets needed replacement to maintain correct temperature in the refrigerator and freezer
Removing the old gaskets was very simple. Replacing the fresh door gasket was the most time consuming. It would have been easier if I had help, it took a some time and patience. The gasket works perfectly. The freezer gasket was easy to replace. The gaskets fit perfectly, thank you. For the ladies out there, you if I can do it, so can you.

Loud Noise
I had already ordered a replacement evaporator motor from another vendor. I ordered the evaporator fan blade, compression ring and rubber grommets from PartSelect. Apparently this is a pretty common issue with top-freezer refrigerators. Obtaining these parts and possessing the few tools needed saved me at least $100 over having someone else perform the repair. I will further use PartSelect when ordering parts for my other appliances. Thank you.

Fan was making a VERY LOUD noise
First I looked at the video on changing out the fan.Made a lot of difference. Everything was covered and made it simple. Wish I had gotten two grommets but the back one was in good shape and worked fine. My hearing isn't great but now I can't even hear the thing run unless the freezer door is open. The shipping was great! You sent it out immediately and in a few days it was here.

Loud noise from the freezer area during the defrost cycle
Removed all the freezer inside panels to inspect the motor before I ordered the part. It looked like a relatively easy job to change it. I also watched the really nice video on the website that re-inforced my confidence in doing the job. The part came in a few days. I disassembled the freezer interior exactly as the video showed.(Warning: be careful with the styrofoam piece if the fridge is not fully defrosted. The ice build-up could cause it to break when trying to pull it out!)The only problem I had was getting the little collar on and off the motor fan shaft, and getting the fan off the shaft. I had to pull really hard for it to come loose and then I had to push really hard to get it back on the new motor shaft. I didn't know if could have used any kind of lubricant or not, so I didn't. After that the re-assembly inside the freezer went well, being careful to put everything back in the correct order and position. Started the fridge back up and it has been running very quietly ever since. But, most important, my wife was impressed with my work and is very pleased with the result!

Freezer work refierator compartment is warm
Defrost timer is hidden in the control panel in the refrigerator top middle. Turn to off and remove two screws which are hidden behind white tabs. I had to pry the old timer from the plug with a screw driver because it was tight. Try not to short across the terminals. Plug in the new timer. Replace it in the clip where you got old one and reinstall the controls. The freezer was still all frosted up so I had to remove the cover and defrost it with a hair dryer to get it to work. Then I turned it on and it works great.

replaced the refrigerator door gasket
The original gasket had ripped and the magnet strip was hanging out. Following information from several youtube video clips & suggestion from the seller, I soaked the gasket in a tub of hot water for 30min to make it more pliable. After removing the old gasket, I put on the new, which only appeared to just snap into a metal tract. However the door couldn't seal. There were big gaps. That is when I realized that the gasket was still rigid. So I took a heat gun and carefully blew hot air on the gasket as I pulled it out enough for the metal edge of the gasket to attach itself to the refrigerator. Took quite a while to get it to seal correctly, but seems to be working well now.

changed the fan motor in my refrigerator
Bought the part and did it. Super easy with any kind of mechanical ability. It took 18 minutes from start to finish, I think it took longer to clean out the freezer section and restock it, than the actual job did.

Freezer worked well, refrig. always a bit warm
First thing I did was un-plug the fan motor located in the freezer compartment and test it for voltage, which it had, telling me the fan motor was shot.I ordered the parts, they arrived in short order and the fan motor was replaced. It took little time and there were no levers, pulleys, servos, gobs of wiring or stacks of gears in a maze of bearings to deal with. Unplug the unit, remove the food rack, ice cube maker(just loosen the 2 screws and lift up)remove the air channel in the center as well as the back panel. Unplug the fan motor and remove the screws securing the motor bracket and lift out. Very simple.
