the previous left behind a side by side, everything worked however the auger in the ice bucket was a little rusty. I wish that I could say it was all me but the truth of the matter was the videos on file.

They were nicely done and easy to follow as I took the unit apart and replaced the auger in about 30 minutes. Thanks for all your help in part look up.

Remove front cover did not remove wires remove ice and water unit took off flapper put new one on 5 minutes back together

Since I really needed to replace the deteriating auger I used the original ice bucket and transferred the new auger assembly into the old ice bucket. Looked complicated at first, but make it work and my refrigerator is now making nice clean ice. It would have taken a lot longer if I sent the new bigger ice bucket back and it was my fault. With the videos and pictures on line made the replacement of the auger & ice bucket easy. Thanks Bill

Turned off the water and unplugged the frig. Removed the assembly (the hard part as it was corrodided) by removing 4 screws and slipping the electrical connections off. The water lines slipped off easilyThe instructions were good and the part fit easily. Then reversed the process by connecting the electrical and water.
I ordered the part via internet on Wed. evening and received it on Friday. Excellant service!

changed both inlet valves, did diognostic on old ice maker. replaced with a new one from partselect.I have a cupple notes of interest. One, do not count on the instructions sent with part , I't took me a while to figure out that they do not necesarly apply to my unit. no diognostic light on new unit. and you don't have to follow the same procedures. I finished the project but the added help hindered me more than helped.

Had to defrost the freezer to melt off all the ice before servicing. Once that was done the icemaker replacement only took about 15-30 minutes to complete. The new icemaker came with many accessories and adaptors that were not needed and the instructions were based on replacing an older model and not really clear for my model. They mentioned not being able to use the new stripper but it was exactly the same as the old one so I left the new one in place. All in all it was easy and did the job.

Use small putty knife to cut internal sealant on ice maker door trim piece. Then you can easily remove it.

Researched on internet/you tube; ordered part, and did the repair. Easy to do and saved the cost of a service call.

removed the bulb from the package unscrewed the old bulb & screwed in the new bulb.

I just followed the instructions on the video and it was exactly as they said......no surprises.

Like others have described. Turn off water and unplug appliance. Remove back plate, remove bracket assembly, disconnect lines (push plastic rings in and pull on tubes) after marking with marker. Reconnect, lines, bracket assembly, panel. Water worked immediately, blowing air out momentarily until water flowed. Took a few times of manually filling ice tray before water started flowing enough to make ice.

0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

Remove the one screw holding the unit in place, unplug it, slide in the replacement, plug and screw it in.

Removed 4 screws holding back, removed water connection, removed screw holding bracket to frame disconnected electrical removed lines connected to valve assembly and installed valve assembly in reverse order.,
