switch wouldn't come out anymore and turn light on
Gently pry out switch in door jam with screwdriver and pull both connectors off and put connectors on new switch then push switch back into the hole. Looked it up on the internet and video showed how to and also had link to new part, ordered and less than a week later the fridge is bright again. I have an older freezer also and it seems that they all use the same switches. Very Very easy

Exterior Water Dispenser inner parts broke (the part that allows water to be dispensed.)
I searched online to learn how to remove front computer panel. Once I was able to do that, I was exposed to the part I needed to order. I took a photo of the broken part, and emailed it to Melissa at PartSelect.com. She was able to identify the exact part and send to me. Once the part arrived 2 days later, I was able to secure it to refrigerator with 4 simple screws. I then placed the computer panel back in place and PRESTO! Repair Complete! All for the price of $47! **This part did not come with a new set of screws...luckily, I save my original screws**

Noisy Howl from Freezer "Awwwwooouuuuuuu" (Repeat)
Parts were perfect. Shipment great. It took a bit of time to get back to the Evaporator fan, so i basically had to take the entire freezer apart. Not a problem. The one issue i ran into was my unit had 2 white wires which connected to a silver bullet thing, that were not included in the wiring harness. Maybe I could have ordered that part (thinking out loud) I had to cut the old one apart, and adapt them into the new one, which had 2 holes to spare for this purpose. I guess i could have spliced every wire, but didn't. The freezer now SOUNDS LIKE A FREEZER. Thanks,

The repair is a snap, you can watch the video and it will put you on the right path. My story is more about the service that Part Select gave me. I used a small box fan on low as a temporary fix. My model number was worn off from the box wine we store in that particular place. So I ordered the part based on looks, well it was wrong. Called Part Select and we talked, the nice lady on the other end said OH it must be this fan motor. Send us back that one, and I'll get this out too you. I'll credit your account for $7.99, and it cost me $8.99 to ship back the wrong part. Wow, the next day I received the new motor. They sent it overnight! I thought it would be 5-6 days! Unbelievable. I will use this company for any, and all my repairs.
