Spring broke
Installed new spring pin and spring. Took only 2-3 minutes. It was more difficult to get the correct part since the spring pin was the only number listed in the part diagram and I actually needed the spring and had to call customer service to get the correct part number.

did not need adapter
exactly as the instructions.......never did see anything about replacing the adapter...therefore i did not

Ice Maker assembly was leaking into cube tray and fusing all cubes together.
Remove Ice maker tray and remove one screw on left side holding wire harness cover on. Remove wire harness cover, disconnect wire harness, pull out Ice Maker Assembly. Install new Ice Maker Assembly, plug in new wire harness & screw harness cover back on.

Ice Bucket housing had broken
Simply removed broken part and replaced with new one.
