A3316ABSHRBB General Electric Refrigerator - Instructions

I pulled out the old one and slid in the new one. Doesn't get any easier, but I have learned for future reference that beer in the crisper equals cracked vegetable pan.

All I had to do was remove what I had on the shelf, remove the bins, replace the shelf and slide the bins back in, replace what I had on the shelf and close the door. I am so happy now when I open the refrigerator door and the new (unbroken) shelf has replaced that old broken one.

I removed the old shelf and even though the new one had a slightly different texture, it fit perfectly and the two crisper drawers slid right in.

it was slowing cracking for a long time, and repairs with duct tape and crazy glue were a futile attempt to avoid the inevitable; a new part altogether! I found a replacement evaporator fan motor and 2 mounting bracket grommets at PartSelect.com at a reasonable price. I watched the installation video provided and installed the new parts as shown in the video start to finish installation time 22 minutes.i

Removed all of the stuff on the shelf, then I removed the two vegetable drawers, then I removed the cracked shelf and installed the new.

Just as your video described, although due to the age of the fridge, it took a bit longer to remove the defective switch. Your video made this so simple, I can't imagine why we lived with a dark fridge for so long! I was ready to buy a whole new fridge, as repairmen are often nonexistent for small repairs. I am the biggest fan of your company & it's repair video. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

We thought we would have to replace our frig, but found the part online and it fit perfectly. It's slightly different than the original because it is stronger. All we did was remove the items from the tray, unsnap the broken one and slide the new one into place.

Using plyers Pulled old switch down and out. Put new one in and pushed new switch up into position. The switch plugs into the contacts, no wiring needed. Worked like a charm. You saved me 200 dollars GE repair bill. Thanks

after simply replacing shelf, I used the enclosed plactic washers to raise the height of door, so it would clear new shelf. It all worked as planned, thanks

We removed the old Drawer Cover and replaced it with the new one. The Refrigerator Door had trouble closing. So we inserted the 2 plastic washers as described in the directions enclosed in the packaging. It was pretty straight forward and an easy fix. Thank you Hot Point and Part Select. I used the socket set to remove pannel that allowed me to have access to the evaporator fan. Once the fan and it's container was visible, I removed the entire fan container using the socket set. I took the fan out of the container, removed the damage blade and the damaged fan grommets. I then replace the old blade with the new blade and put the fan and the compartment back together. I am not very handy so if I am able to do this, anybody can. Ps. I was very very pleased with the services I received from PartSelect and would encourage others to use them - must admit I was very suspicious at first.
