I pulled the bulb out to see if it was the bulb, no! I took the switch out, of course with the refer unplugged, and jummped out the wires and the light came on. Ordered my switch and put it in in 10 seconds and then there was light! Thanks again for showing me the light!

Really simple... broken light switch easily removed with flat edge screw driver. Once removed unplug and plug new one in and good to go.

My father called and asked me if I knew where he could get a new switch light for his refrigerator. I came across your web site and found the part right away. I located the light switch at the bottom of the area where the door closes. I just popped it out with a small screwdriver and installed the new switch. A 2 wire connecter and small clip is all there is to it.

Took the tray out, removed three screws, popped the front tray out, installed the deflector, and put it back together. Done in less than 15 minutes and my wife is ecstatic that our dispenser works again.

Pried off the yellowed trim piece, took a little effort. Popped on the new piece. Looks great! Although this part seems expensive for what it is, it does make the refrigerator look much better and cleaner.

Changing out solenoid was very easy, but you don't have to remove trim ring and it didn't fix my problem. Turns out a relay fell out of its holder in the piece you have after removing the 4 screws per the video.

After inspection of the new door recess assembly, I realized that I could use sidecutters (electronic assembly type) and 'clip' off the inward lock tabs of the old recess assembly and disengage it from the crank door arm without any further disassembly of the refrigerator door. It was easy to 'unhitch' the tang from the crank arm and wiggle it out through the external opening of the ice/water dispenser compartment. I reversed the process and inserted the new assembly through the external opening of the compartment. The new door recess assembly snapped into place on the crank arm and fit tightly against the ice chute opening, correcting the issue caused by aging distortion of the old rubber seal cup portion of the door recess assembly.

New parts just snapped in place. Perfect fit.

Went exactly by the video. Perfect job, you send the installation video with the part. You watch the video before or during, goof proof, took longer to disassemble than to replace the part.

I got the wrong switch before so just need to put the right 1 in. Super easy, pop off old, plug in new, click back into place. Done. REALLY REALLY EASY for anyone to do

took off the front panel, removed the auger and front piece, removed the pin and spring and installed them on to the new piece and then put everything back together

Disconnect the ice maker unit from the right side plate as well as unplugged the electric connections.

2. Unscrewed the left side plate from freezer side. It took some time to unscrew the farthest one due to lack of room to use spanner. Some the small socket set to unscrew it.

3. Remove old one and attach new one
4. Attach the ice maker to the left plat and plug in.

5. Put the ice tray and start making ice.

Watched an online video that I had seen before that helped immensely step by step, I fixed before and now just lowered freezer setting so ice bucket doesn’t get as full and freeze the deflector and jam deflector, causing it to break.
