Getting the gasket into the tight groove.
Remove the fridge door and put it on the floor. Being able to apply lots of pressure helped get it into the tight groove. The corners were the hardest part. This requires strong "man" hands!

refrigerator wasn't cooling but the freezer was working properly
From instructions found on the site I was directed to the defrost timer part being bad. And from the information others posted that have had the same problem I was able to replace that part by removing the bottom grill just below the door and on the left side was the part. Removing one screw to remove the bracket from the frame and then another screw to remove the part from the bracket. I found it easier to remove the part from the bracket before I pulled the part out so I would have more room to unplug the connector. Just reverse the steps to replace the new part. It took about a day or so for the refrigerator to get to the proper temp.

Bottom door hinge was lost during move
I had lost the bottom hinge during a move and so I rigged the hinge using an old tv antenna and the door never really quite worked right and it was VERY annoying. I stumbled upon this site and was surprised how inexpensive the part I needed was. I was very impressed with the speed of shipping and the install took maybe 5 minutes. The fridge works as good as new. Thanks a ton!

Not enough shelf space
At this time of the year our beach fridge is always full of food and drinks. Every time we want something it meant leaving the door open for extended time whlie moving things left, right and center. When the new shelf arrived I removed the food and drinks from the existing two shelves and moved them closer together. I then slipped in the new shelf and reloaded the food. Suffice to say the fridge stays open less and we are able to get at things without moving others. I wish I had thought to do this before.

Loud screeching noise from freezer during cooling cycle
I replaced the fan motor and one of the grommets. When I took the motor out it was clear it was failing because there were metal flakes from the motor on the fan blade. I followed the instructions on the posted video. My model did not have a removable bottom tray in the freezer so that was one less thing to do. Aside from that the video was accurate. I had two minor problems during reinstallation. First, it was very difficult to get the spring clamp back on the fan blade without pushing it against the motor. Recommend you get someone to help hold the spring open while you push it on. Second, the length of wire on the replacement was not exactly the same as the original and I had to move some wires around. Recommend you take a picture of the cable layout before disassembling.

light not working
I used pliers to pull lightly on the head of the switch, while I inserted a small flat head screw driver into the base of switch and gently worked around the edges to free it from the panel.

refrigerator evaporator fan noise
Despite attempts to quiet the 2 year old fan, I went ahead and replaced it. Part Select was prompt with a new one at my door less than 24 hours. It was just the fan motor, so took a couple extra steps to place it in the metal housing, but no problems and though the frig still makes noises, it's not coming from the fan as before.

Open freezer, remove rack....this got a little complicated because I had to remove the door, that required the offset screwdriver because I had a clearance issues preventing the door from opening all the way. Remove the panel covering the fan, unplug the fan, remove it from bracket, install new fan, plug in, replace panel, replace rack, replace door...bam all done!

EVAP fan motor wore out, fan hits flange in back panel
Took back out of freezer compartment, pulled plug and removed old motor, inserted new parts. It was
easy and the parts arrived the day after I ordered
online, even though I chose the cheapest shipping
option. Nothing in my freezer had a chance to thaw
out.

The refrigerator would not stop running, resulting in frozen food in the refrigerator compartment.
After reading the trouble shooting section of the owners manual, I determined, without much difficulty, that the temp control was defective. I checked some local outlets and found the prices running from $36.00 and up. The same part from this site was around $20.00. Guess where I bought mine! It arrived in a timely fashion, and I installed it with no problem, in about 10 - 15 minutes. This was a very easy job, just remove and replace three wires snap the unit into place, and screw the cover on. Tip: I always use you tube or another source to get some instruction, just in case I'm not as smart as I think I am!
