It was way to ez to install only a couple of minutes that's it

On the internet forum I read that if the control board needs to be changed , do the same for the Run Capacitor/relay.
The Ge profile refrigerator was 15 years old. First I disconnect the power cord,
I removed the control board at the back of the fridge, replaced it with a new one and did the same for the run capacitor.
Plugged the power cord back and it works fine. GE repair service did not want to come to do it. DIY is fine.

Pulled the two wires out from the access hole in the lower part of the refrigerator. Put them in the spade connectors on the new switch, and pushed the switch into place.

Just as your video described, although due to the age of the fridge, it took a bit longer to remove the defective switch. Your video made this so simple, I can't imagine why we lived with a dark fridge for so long! I was ready to buy a whole new fridge, as repairmen are often nonexistent for small repairs. I am the biggest fan of your company & it's repair video. THANK YOU SO MUCH

I found a replacement evaporator fan motor and 2 mounting bracket grommets at PartSelect.com at a reasonable price. I watched the installation video provided and installed the new parts as shown in the video start to finish installation time 22 minutes.i

Fan Quit So did the Ice Maker. $150.00 worth of parts plus my time. Also the Freezer Floor cracked for some stupid reason.

PartSelect shipped me the part and it arrived in less than 3 days. It took longer to unwrap the excellent packing than it did to pop the new door into place. Wonderful!

Using plyers Pulled old switch down and out. Put new one in and pushed new switch up into position. The switch plugs into the contacts, no wiring needed. Worked like a charm. You saved me 200 dollars GE repair bill. Thanks

Removed rer cover, unplugged starter assembly from side of compressor and replaced unit with a new one. Plugged fridge in and it works good.

I came home to find a mess near the refridgetor. My teenage daughter or son had made themselves a peterbutter and strawberry homemade jam sandwhich. The strawberry jam was all over the inside of the door and on the floor. What a mess, so I was waiting for my husband to change the gasket around the door anyways. So I though to myself I just change it myself. The old one just came off and I pulled the new one out of the box and I went right on with not much effort. ( I wiped down the area after I put off the old gasket) Thank you very much for making the parts so easily avaiable on your website without having to buy a new refrigator. Thanks again Sue and Ed

2 screws. how easy can i get.

Take out both vegetable drawers. Lift back of shelf first then front until you hear the click from both front sides. The shelf should now be loose and you can take fully out. Remove the glass shelf from the plastic frame by turning the shelf over and pulling back and up from the rear part of the glass. Put the glass into the new plastic frame by doing the same technique. Then put the shelf back into the fridge by the resting the shelf down in the correct position and pushing the front of the shelf until you hear the click again on each side. slide the drawers back into place and you are done!

Gently pry out switch in door jam with screwdriver and pull both connectors off and put connectors on new switch then push switch back into the hole. Looked it up on the internet and video showed how to and also had link to new part, ordered and less than a week later the fridge is bright again. I have an older freezer also and it seems that they all use the same switches. Very Very easy

Only took a screwdriver to take two screws out & install new slide with the two existing screws. Very easy. Took less than 5 minutes. Great website I found on Google right away, just by searching for refridgerator parts. After ordering part, only took a few days to come in.
