Freezer Kept defrosting
I looked at the video that came with the part and followed what i saw. My wife and i was about to go out and spend between $1500 and $2500 on a new refrigerator due to continuous defrosting. It had been happening for about a year. I followed the instructions from the video and the defrosting has stopped. Thanks so much for the video and the part! We do not need a new refrigerator after all.

Frost build up on coils
Removed shelves and light bulb. Undid the two screws on the back panel with nut driver. Snipped the two wire leads to the defrost thermostat. ( orange and pink wires) Carefully removed the defrost thermostat from the coil. Stripped both ends of the wire leads about a half inch and onnected with two wire nuts. Then wrapped with electrical tape to seal from moisture. Carefully attached defrost thermostat to coil. Screwed the back panel back on. Reinstalled light bulb and shelves. And plugged refrigerator back in. Works like a charm. Saved close to 100.00 dollars doing repair myself.

Refrigerator's Freezer section was warm and there was ice accumulating on the inside back panel.
Removed the interior shelves and set screw which holds the light cover in place. Next I removed the four screws that hold the back panel in place. Located the defrost thermostat and removed it from the aluminum tubing by unclipping it, just as it was illustrated in the repair video. Cut the wires and stripped the ends and then connected them to the ends of the new defrost thermostat. Connected them together with an 16-14 gauge crimp style end cap. Taped the entry point into the end cap to reduce moisture penetration. Reassembled the back panel, light cover and shelves.

not cold enough in the freezer compartment and cabin pressure also warmer than usual.
I called angies list to get a name of a repair person . We were having very hot weather and I did not want my freezer food to spoil. The cost was not bad for the look see $127.00 plus parts and labor added on to this. I decided to look on the internet and found your services and the video on how to replace the part that might be bad. I bought a new thermostat and also a sensor and added the control board as the refrigerator is 13 years old. I spent a total of $206.00 and did the work myself so no labor cost. I was so happy as a new refrigerator like this one would be $3100.00 plus tax. Thank You R. Polglase

Freezer section too warm. Would not go below 20 F
I replaced both the Defrost Thermostat and the Temperature Sensor located on the top of the cooling coils. I ordered them because they were the least expensive items that addressed my problem. They did not correct my problem. I then ordered the Main Control circuit board. I installed the board in about 15 minutes. Finally my freezer returned to the set temperature of 0 degrees F. Problem solved

Freezer compartment wouldn't regulate the temperature properly
Using a nut driver, I removed the panel that covers the freezer coil. Using wire stripper/cutters. I replace the Temperature sensor and Thermostat. I also replaced the heater element that comes on when the freezer goes into defrost mode. Worked like a charm. The original problem was the freezer compartment would thaw just enough to start the melting process then freeze everything and build up ice to the point where the ice that was produced from the ice maker would just turn into a big block of ice. Everything is working perfectly now with only an hours worth of work and about $75.00 in parts.
