Refrigerator kept turning off and on
I easily removed the screws and then removed the board and took a picture so I would remember how to re-connect it. It was really easy and now my refrigerator is working great. If I can do it anyone can do it. My husband was amazed that I did it all by myself.

Freezer fan made a howling sound
Used 1/4 nut driver and drill to take off acc pnl. The repair amounted to unplugging several connectors, removing the old motherboard, installing the new board and reconnecting the wires. this solved the problem and the whole appliance seems to run better.

Clicking noise while trying to turn on,would not turn on.
I checked the problems others were having to see if they had simular ones. They were having the same clicking noise I was having. My refrigerator would not turn on. Clicking noise but would not start. They replaced the motherboard. I searched the internet for prices. Part select was about $30.00 cheaper that the other stores. I ordered from part select. Nice helpful people to deal with. I installed the part in about 5 minutes, very easy repair. They sent me an updated part. Thanks everybody and Part Select for your help.

"ghostly" sounds from refrig fan
read on line that fan control in main board can cause erratic running of the fan causing "whooing" and ghostly sounds. New board installed and now I have the quietest fridge in the neighborhood. Here's the unbelieveable part. Ordered the part online from parts select on good friday morning. Fed ex delivered it just after lunch the next day (saturday). Now that's the best service I've ever received!!

Ice & Water dispenser not working
Ice & Water dispenser did not dispense. When pushing on the dispenser lever, the entire unit briefly lost power and reset as though the appliance was unplugged. I heard a click from the back of the unit where the main board was located.
Fridge made ice but didn't operate. I determined the micro-switch and solenoid were working properly. So the only thing that could be wrong was the board.
Removed main board panel with screw/nut driver. Unplugged board connections. Un-snapped main board from housing assembly. Installation is the reverse.
Very easy. Only needed was a screw/nut driver. Electrical connections are easy since the harnesses can only fit to their own connection. No way to make a mistake.
Took no more than 10 minutes.
Problem solved!
