Two tabs hold the switch in place. I used a plastic wedge to remove the switch. Removed and replaced the two connectors held in by friction. Painless.

Replaced dispenser auger.
Read your instructions, which were very helpful, and followed them to install. It took a while for me to realize that the threaded cap at the end of the auger was a left-hand thread. Other than that, I had no problems.

Part arrived very fast as ordered..need to pry old switch out from top..use care to push the retainer down..after old switch was 1/2 out, I used a putty knife for better leveridge.Remove wire connector...after plugging in the wire connector to the replacement switch, make sure the switch is properly positioned so the switch will depress when door shuts.

Ice Bucket Auger Broken
This repair was very simple to do. I cannot say enough about part select dot com. I feel that I am a definite handy man yet the videos on the part select dot com site proved to be valuable. This video showed and reminded me that the plastic bushing holding the auger on was reverse threaded. Being a rightee tightee leftee loossee person embedded in my head I would have worn out that bushing holding the auger in place. I recommend not only purchasing from partselect.com YET please watch the video on this site prior to this installation. This made the installation not only simple yet informative. Thanks!

Moving the refrigerator into my new (very old) house we had to remove the doors which resulted in a crimped hose and union
Remove lower front panel, disconnect damaged union from water hose under freezer door, replace with new union, tighten and reattach front panel. No more water coming from under the unit. Ice maker and dispenser features returned to working order!

The unit will not dispense water, but does make and dispence ice.
I replaced that part, but I still have the same problem, no water is dispensed. I believe I may need a circuit board. The problem was not the parts I replaced.

replace auger in the ice maker
We had a little difficulty getting the washer back on properly because my husband could not remember how he took them off. I finally got the parts in front of my computer and brought up the picture of the auger and parts that showed me how to put the washer back properly and we got it back together and it works fine. Not bad for two old people I am 80 and my husband is 79 but we still take pretty good care of things.it would have been a little easier if I could have printed the picture off, but we made it.

Water reservoir leaked at seam
Had to go to a plumbing supplier and buy two in-line quick connects for 5/16" tubing (Be nice if Partselect added these). Ace, Lowes, and Home Debot didn't carry them.Took out two drawers and glass tops and this exposed the water reservoir. Cut the existing 5/16" tubing down far enough to utilize the new tubing. Had to remove some foam covering. Not a problem. Removed old reservoir with philips screw driver (two screws) and installed new reservoir. Cut new tubing to desired length. Used the in-line quick connects to connect the tubing and put glass covers and drawers back into refrigerator.
