Auger for the ice dispenser would not turn.
I replaced the ice tray with a new one. Could not tell what was broken in the tray, so I just purchased a new one, as the repair man service charge is 60.00 and then you have to pay for the part.

plastic parts came out of ice dispenser
Removed icemaker from freezer, remove covers allowing access to dispenser. In the next step I removed the auger and broken shield as one assembly. With assembly out of icemaker it was a simple task of taking the broken shield off of auger and putting the new one on. Reassemble in reverse order as removed.

Evaperator continualy iced up causing the unit to not cool effectively
Removed the 28 -5/16" nuts that held the freezer door panel on and the rear panel that covered the evaporator.
once open the evaperator was defrosted (this took some time) and the interior of the freezer door was defrosted as well.
after defrosting, drying and cleaning, the gasket was simply pulled off and the new gasket was installed on the panel then reinstalled on the door (be sure to follow the instructions on the box that the gasket came in for removing any deformaties due to shipping).
Note that due to the age and loosness of the fasting screws I replaced the # 8 screws with new #10 screws.

Broken auger nut and crusher cover dispenser
1. Slide out that big box with all the ice in it
2. Remove two screws (phillips tipped)under white plastic cover, pull off the cover
3. Press the two plastic tabs in, to release white box thingy
4. Pull the box out, long plastic ice screwer and all
5. Notice how the stainless blades go back in before removing
6. This up to you, but at this point I took a break
7. Note: the auger nut is a left hand thread, it took me a while to figure that out (Porter?)
8. Screw on the new auger nut, I used a putty knife to span the screwdriver like slot, slide your new crusher cover on, slide assembly back into place, install snap ring
9. reassemble
10. Realize the real problem is the solenoid for the rubber flapper that is stuck open allowing the ice to frost and freeze and break the parts I just replaced
11. to be continued ():

switchlight on my refrigerator was not working
I found instructions on the web about how to do this repair, so I ordered the part with confidence. But the instructions simply said "pull out the old switchlight". That was actually somewhat difficult as the clip on the side intended to hold the part in was stubborn. I eventually used a utility to slice off the clip. From that point, it was just a matter of plugging in the new switchlight , which was very simple.
