Condenser fan was having trouble starting
Attempted it on my own with the aid of the video on your site, but could not remove the fan shroud due to additional copper lines that prevented me from getting it out.
Gave up and called an appliance repair guy. He had a novel approach: Don't pull the fan shroud (with motor attached) out, but instead remove one of the screws holding the motor into the bracket, then bend the bracket to get the motor out.
All good until we powered the fridge on again. Now the fan works, but spins faster (and makes more noise than) the original fan.
The repair guy's comment: "I've seen that before with some of the aftermarket fans."
Nice! I'd appreciate getting the right part when I order the part from your website based on my fridge model number.

Noisy
I didn’t do the repair because I ordered two grommets. When they arrived, one of the packages was empty! Instead of just sending me another one, they refunded the part so I still need one. By the way, I was not refunded half the shipping either which was more than the part itself.

broken side rail - vegetable drawer would not open and close
I removed the drawer and broken piece, then I screwed in the two screws to put the new piece in place. I then had trouble putting the shelf back in place due to the piece being a little bent. I loosened the front screw and was able to manuver the shelf in place with a little force. The new bracket works great.

Refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling and began to thaw.
The repair is pretty straight forward it is the preparation that takes time.
The food in the freezer portion of our side by side began thawing. We tried adjusting the temperature level to colder but to no avail. When we started emptying the freezer compartment I noticed a large amount of frost/ice at the back.
I turned the control to off and began defrosting the freezer using my wife's hair dryer. :) Once the outside layer was defrosted I removed the panel covering the coils. They were packed solid with ice and took over 30 minutes to defrost. Be sure to use a pan or container to catch some of the water because the catch pan under the refrigerator isn't large enough.
Once everything was defrosted I removed the heater tube assembly (at bottom of coils)it was a glass tube with a coiled wire element inside. The element had shorted out and the tube appeared black in that area.
I replaced this single tube heater with the double tube recommend on the partselect.com site. This required re-routing one of the wires and splicing in the plug/wire assembly contained in the repair kit.
Simply followed the instructions, reassembled everything and turned the control back on. No more problems. A very easy repair for anyone mechanically inclined and who owns a few basic tools.

Right hand side drawer slider broke
I emptied all items from the above drawer shelf, removed the shelf and drawer, cleaned the area from previous spills, use a screw driver to remove the 2 screws holding the old slider in and replaced the slider. All parts fitted and it took around or less than 15 minutes.

Condensor coils freezing up
I found the frig not cooling as good as it used to and did some research on the net and found some common failures. I started with the easiest test and ohmed out the defrost heater and also noticed it had blackened spots on both ends of element. The ohm reading confirmed it to be open. Replacement was easy for a "diesel" mechanic so basically anybody that can follow directions should be able to replace thiers as well.

Ice formed on back wall of freezer section and everything thawed.
After reading about what others had done on PartSelect, I decided to order the defrost heater and bracket assembly. When the parts arrived (very prompt) I removed the back panel of the freezer. Ice was covering the coils, so I took a hair dryer and melted the ice. Then I removed the defrost heater and replaced it with the new one. Very easy; only a couple of screws on the back wall to remove and one on the heater itself. Anyone can do it. I had called a repair service, and they wanted $75 just for the service call. I probably saved at least $100 by doing the job myself.

The side rails broke off the bottom two shelves, maybe because the drawer was full of apples.
I removed the shelves & drawers, then unscrewed the side rails (2 screws in each one). After screwing in the new rails (I had saved the screws from the old parts -the new rails did not come with screws), I only had to place the drawer & shelf back in the fridge and the job was done. It took maybe 5 minutes to replace.
I ordered the parts late morning on day one, day two the UPS man was at my door while I was eating breakfast! Less than 24 hrs. from order to delivery!

slide rails for drawer broke
1st I unscrewed the side rails after I removed the drawer. I saved the screws and both rails until I received the new ones. There were 2 screws in each side. 2nd I looked online at the parts select web page. The exploded diagrams were extreemly helpful. Like most people my appliance book does not have this feature. I ordered the 2 rails for the drawer on Sunday morning and the parts were here by Wednesday afternoon..very good service in my opinion. I then proceeded to replace the two side rails with the screws that I saved from dismantling them. I then put the drawer back into the refrigerator and it worked perfectly. This repair was easy and it saved me a $60.00+ dollar service call and a longer wait period to get the repair done! I will continue to use part select.com for all my appliance repair work. Thanks
